It's one of those where I could do with it in the next few days but no chance of getting up there in time, and when I was in Carlisle last Saturday morning I didn't know I needed it.

£40 posted for one from a club member isn't much more than the diesel I'd use to get to Carlisle for a look either.

Sorted, anyway :)

The cable is still in the car so I can't measure it.

Chris, Looking at the second picture, is that cable actually bust? It looks like a nipple down the hole and I'm wondering if you have a broken one of these...

Update: Having looked up the reg, VIN and Service Box. The clutch cable on that Citroen ZX 1.9 TD Estate / RHD / BE3 gearbox is:

Pity Amazon are "temporarily out of stock". Cheap as chips (if you get something else to tip it over twenty quid).

Otherwise it's getting clobber for post of £8 or so on top of £16 https://www.123spareparts.co.uk/car-parts/ABS/Cable-Clutch-Control/p-12332887

Roll up, get your out of date, retro tech here :

A very early Road Angel satnav, still working, the battery even had some charge in it when I switched it on. Complete with amplifier cradle, ideal for use in a noisy two seater soft top where you can't hear a normal satnav. £10 posted

(maps and camera data might be a little out of date but it's all part of the charm)

To the left is another more recent Road Angel satnav that doesn't seem to work, you can have that for free in the same parcel if you want it ?

Or for the naughty boys (and/or girls) amongst you, a pair of Road Angel compact gps camera detectors, not quite in working order - one lights up but doesn't boot, the other boots up but doesn't seem to find a gps signal. I can shove them in a jiffy bag and post for a fiver if anyone fancies a go at fixing them ?

Thanks.

The best I had found was £43 from a local factors so I will order this from 123 unless you can think that would not do the job?

I'm fairly certain, it is a RHD cable length, just check the ends.

Some nonsense price at ECP too, even after any discounts they are doing at any minute of the day.

I imagine it'll be similar to doing the clutch cable on an XUD engined 306.

I remember having to take off the driver's side front wheel and remove the battery box to get access. It wasn't too bad though.

It was clipped across the trailing edge of the front subframe, then went up to the top of the gearbox (under the battery box).

Apparently because of the proximity to the exhaust and turbo, they go dry and eventually snap. That's what mine did. It came out in 4 pieces!

Probably not the right forum but I have some free spoilers on offer.

Not quite sure what they are off but am sure Stuboy could stick them on something!

I think the first one is a Puma?post-19511-0-16463200-1527194074_thumb.jpgpost-19511-0-34542900-1527194102_thumb.jpg

The second one I have no idea what it is. post-19511-0-32285600-1527194156_thumb.jpgpost-19511-0-80078800-1527194174_thumb.jpgpost-19511-0-08831700-1527194196_thumb.jpg

Not the third. Possibly MG though? No markings at all on this one.post-19511-0-36703200-1527194267_thumb.jpgpost-19511-0-84887300-1527194284_thumb.jpg

All brand new old stock, never fitted. In original primer. Free of charge. Postage probably tenner at most or pick up from Ludlow or maybe Shitefest

According to the part numbers, the first one is for a 2002 (possibly others) Ford Focus and the second one is for a 2001-2007 Ford Focus ZX3.

The third one does look right for an MG

Free to collector before I take them down the tip.

I have a couple of complete rover 400 doors which have the glass and electric windows and handles and all the electrical bits work and they have the interior panels etc.

I kept them just in case a regulator or motor went or if I needed any glass but now the the car is going to a new owner I better clear the shed.

Those spoilers are going to be free at Shitefest are they?

I'll take my duct tape and hilariously* prank people with them then. Spoilers for everybody!

Anyone want a 2001 Kia Magentis 2.5 petrol auto, in silver with two weeks MOT, and an aircon compressor pulley which sounds like it is going to grenade sooner than that?

Other faults are - no electric passenger window as it died and i took it out entirely and wedged it shut, rusty front subframe - might get thru another year if welded up but bit crusty nonetheless, handbrake ineffective - not investigated at all.

pretty dinged up and scratched but engine and box are fine, wheels and tyres are legal, not sure why I'm bothering as I'm usually the last port of call for vehicles before the bridge, but maybe someone needs one for spares?

It's in leeds, £100 and you can drive it away, noisily :)
