Looks proper old money that.

Well done.

Lots of details please...

Beautiful. I'd love a working pug 2.0 petrol estate in this colour

Those seats are wonderful, but I expect you know that already.  505 estates seemed to go through a mad phase money wise a few years back, but seemed to have settled down a bit now.  Perhaps 'cos there ain't any good ones left.

That looks great, I've always wanted a 505, I have a couple of 305s, how does the 505 compare?

Fabulous. Bet you can’t wait to get it cleaned up. Hope you have a good cleaning equipment!

Oooooft that's gorgeous!

Don't shampoo the seats now though, wrong time of year, they'll never dry!

A friend of mine and 505 enthusiast brought this to our last road trip. I was genuinely impressed how well it kept up with much more modern cars, being the V6 definitely helped. Very cool to see these still on the road!

Ooof that is stunning! Looks like last of the line run out spec on an H plate too.

My uncle ran these and 504 wagons exclusively throughout the 70s and 80s. Love it!!

Posted

That is delightful :) I would ask for dibs but doubt I would be able to afford it if you ever decide to sell it

Posted

Blimey that's a late one.

Shame it means it doesn't have the dash with the warning lights above the instrument binnacle, which I reckon just looks ace.

Haven't been in one of these since 1993...

Posted

Yeah! 505 break with XN1, winning combination. Indestructible  it will live forever. Ignore what people say, the second generation dash and interiuer is so much nicer!

Posted

Ooh yes. Oh, very much yes to this. Top buyage!

Not only is it generally wonderful, but also pretty much identical to a 505 Familiale I attempted to procure for band/gigging activities c.2000 from a demolition-site trader, the purchase of which foundered on insurance snags and deep parental disapproval (whilst the same colour as yours, the paintwork on this one was detroyed and every single panel had been extravagantly kicked in).

Rare old beasts these days, and deffo very near the top of my 'want to own' list.

Look forward to hearing more!!

I'm a bit of a pug fan, so yes I like that.

Sounds daft but get a decent DIY type immobiliser fitted to it. These are easy pickings for theft and export to Africa.

I love these - I'll admit I'm hankering after the saloon.... the last one was, sadly for me, an automatic.....

Excellent purchase fella. Lovely looking old bus

Sigh. Why can't we have big estates any more?

Pug 505s are second only to CXs on my really need a proper estate list.

They are absolutely lovely looking things, aren't they?
