Further to my MIG welder expiring in the Sad topic.

It seems to only be the fan, Taken a fan from a smaller welder, same size and running the right way, good for another 10 years maybe!

Anyone any idea where I get a fan to replace? Have read microwave might do?

Harris I can just about understand as it's a nice bottle(enterprising dipsomaniac friends have got creative and made lamps and(dangerously large) whisky tumblers out of them); the rest are just glass waiting to be recycled. If you want them to make a hipster ornament out of buy a bottle and get the benefit of drinking it.

Yes it is a Clarke, I'll ring them if I have to, but don't want to spend much. It's a spare welder that's been under the bench 5 years.

Will work without the fan for short bursts if I'm stuck.

I almost sold it for next to nowt on here, but he didn't get back and obviously it's going nowhere now in case  I need another part.

I'd just bodge a standard 12cm 240v fan in there (like a computer type fan), theyre about a tenner off the usual suspects
