Only issue I had with those little 107s was how dead they are. They make a fun noise, and they're delightfully basic inside, the seats are even adequate, but there's zero feedback through any of the controls.  You sort of turn the wheel and hope you've turned it enough and wait for something to happen.  Same with the throttle, press it and wait to see what happens, press it a lot and it makes lots of noise and not much else if it's the three cylinder.  As a first car they're superb, and surprisingly resilient since there's so much bendy plastic front and rear.  I couldn't put up with owning one but I'd happily bomb around in one if I was looking for a short term hire car or absolutely had to drive through a big city.

I like Jonny Smith and this is a really well balanced review. If I ever, v unlikely, got one of these it would take 

me flippin weeks to get to grips with all the tech. Amazing .

I'll do a proper ad but around £750 and it's oop north where we have no need for aircon  (near newcastle / durham)

I'd love to keep it and do some autotests with my nephew but he's not old enough to take part for another year
