Topless turbo mx5 and the A roads back from Ilkley to Accrington surely must be one of the wonders of the world.

Heater cranked up to top and then give VXRs a bit of a surprise without breaking the speed limits

People who drive cars newer than mine and the thing sounds like complete shite, screetching and rattling and they are totally oblivious to the fact it sounds like that, i just laugh and pat mine and say you might have been to the moon but you dont sound like that.

Been watching a few of the videos on the channel "AutomatricsMTrack" on YouTube this evening. A tracker company advertising their recovery operations for pinched vehicles.
The one below was particularly satisfying where they track a nicked Evoque to an industrial estate, turn up with the spare keys and stroll past the YOOTs who nicked it, jump in and fuck off with it.

Another entertaining one is where they track a nicked hire car to a supermarché in Calais, get on the Eurotunnel and find the thief sat in the drivers seat. He couldn't scarper with it as the hire company had some of their French colleagues go and let the tyres down.

The number of times they find a pinched car/bike/bit of plant and the police also identify other nicked vehicles at the site is mad.

Worth a watch I think.

The episode where they set off from that there London to track down a stolen digger waaaaay up north, only to follow the transmitted  signal to a police recovery yard....

Crikey, they weren’t that shiny when they were new.

Thats a very picturesque Tesco’s you’ve got  there, by the way.

Littlun made me a note, probably to grovel as he woke me up at 6am on a Sunday morning when I'm full of cold.

Should I be worried that he's written it like a ransom note?

About 30 years ago boy I knew resprayed his shitty brown Cavalier a slightly different shade of shitty brown. It looked like he did it with  crayon. He's working as a sprayer at the new Aston Martin factory in St. Athan now.  Avoid buying a brown one and you'll be alright

I'm in Tilburg and it's 22 degrees and sunny. Having a BBQ this afternoon

with Venison and Wild Boar. Yum yum. My apple ogees if it's pissing down

where you are. Luckily there isn't a dislike button.

My old heap drove faultlessly and a rough calculation it did 62 mpg on the

veg. Will check when I fill up. Brought a jerry with 20 litres in that will at least

get me well into Englandshire before I have to buy diesel. I haz grin.

The Wedgister is finally up to date again because I had some free time today to devote to it.  Much happier to have that bit of nerdery tidied up.

This guy wakes up in hospital with his whole body covered in bandages apart from his bollocks

A doctor comes in to inform him he's been in a terrible accident , the bad news is his penis has been cut completely off

He starts to panic so the doctor reassures him , it's not all bad news , we can rebuild it , you've been awarded £9000 in compensation , the cost of reconstruction is £1000 an inch

We would have done it while you were out but we didn't know how big you'd want it , if we gave you 5" and you had 9" you might feel hard done by but if you only had 5" then 9" might have been a bit if a shock for your wife , best have a chat with her and let us know.

A few days later the doctor returns, have you talked it over with your wife

yes, we're getting a new kitchen

2 years ago, just after we started dating, Girlfriend_70s went on holiday to Poland with a friend. I jokingly asked her to buy me a Syrena 105.

She just got home from a 3rd holiday to Poland (with her mother this time) and presented me with this:

"They had a shiny red one as well but I thought you'd prefer the mustardy beige one"

What a girl...

The N/S front wing on the BX has runs like that, only they go uphill 'cos whichever of the previous owners rattle canned it (after a few drinks by the looks) did so with it perched on a wheelie bin or some such prior to fitting. To date, no-one has coughed to having done the deed, even though it definitely happened during the car's tenure on the forum ?

Saw this in Lacock yesterday

Best bit is that it's obviously someone's work vehicle

As a big contrast, in Bristol this morning I saw this ingenious repair.

Also sads that these caravans are someone main home. Homelessness is rife in Bristol and just hidden below the surface. Not only those living on the streets but those sofa surfing and living in old caravans/vans.

Doesn't surprise me given how utterly daft Bristol property prices are these days.  Seems you need to go to a dodgy area of Clevedon before prices start approaching what I would consider reasonable.  Or Weston-sur-Mer, but that's a bit of a hole.
