Anyone had experience of anything like BreakerLink to get hold of panels for a modern-ish car? Or recommend an alternative service?

Did something foolish today at very low speed which has the potential to cost me lots of money and/or grief.....

Probably bad form to quote myself, whatever. Without using BreakerLink I went direct to a specialist breaker who appears to have the two doors I need so will be doing a long return trip to north of Bolton tomorrow.

Trying to keep things a little more jolly, I gave the LS400 a long overdue clean last night in readiness for tonight's ECR Shotley meet, and bought a ticket for the rescheduled East Coast Japanese show at Stonham on Sunday.

Bloke's sure got some issues.

I am busy emptying the Vivaro for its final journey. The only big thing left now is the electric things I want and the diesel heater.

I've been unsure if I should try to sell some things as it will take some time before I get a new van, but I can't bear to have anything to do with the general public so I won't.

Well, four and half years working deep behind enemy lines at everyone's* favourite* national car parts emporium are officially over.

How odd. I vaguely remember someone on here telling a story about buying a Carlton that had a boot full of custard as the previous owner was into similar.

Hope it’s a good weekend. Several people are moaning at the cost and calling for the committee to resign!

I think there’s a problem when no local group comes forward to organise, at last minute the committee have to find something and it wasn’t quite as suitable for 2CVGB as it could be.  But there’s a bar and lots of people we know, can’t complain really

We now have a wolf/wolves in the area, 11 sheep and lambs killed and injured so far.

My daily walks in the woods have now become more exciting than what i want.

I helped organise the 2003 meeting in west London with our local group. It was so much effort it basically killed the club spirit as it wasn’t fun.

It/they have come from somewhere else, I guess from the east. So natural.

And hunting permits have been issued and that can also lead to wolf lovers from the cities coming and trying to sabotage the hunt.

This has the potential to become a shit show.

'Fraid not - 'tis a trendy thing.
We've had advocates for re-introducing wolves and bears (!) over this way - that'll work given that there's nothing here for them to eat other than..

sheep and lambs (and maybe my horses)

I’ve no idea, but how large are they? Small dog, large dog or escaped wearwolf?

Enjoy!
We didn’t book this year, partly because of thecost, but mainly because small children meaning we can’t really enjoy bar/bands related fun in the evenings and runs are less easy too… until my parents offered to have the kids for the weekend but by that point bookings had closed… if we’d been able to just rock up like usual we would have been there.

I do think it’s great the committee stepped up to arrange it in the absence of a local group tho! We’re gutted not to be there.

Quick check, normal weight 30 to 50kg and 70 to 80cm tall. But a wolf of 65 kg have been shot in the past so they can get bigger.

Think big (old fashioned) German Shepherd dog that needs a good feeding up. Belgium and Holland are getting a few wandering over from Bavaria and you see crap like this:

They eat things in woods; UK farmers don't graze their animals in woods(mainly because the UK has so little woodland, but that's another issue), so it would be a non-issue for the UK . The UK has maybe 2m feral deer when the biome can support perhaps half that without damage, lots of rabbits etc., there's lots for wolves to eat and we need them to eat them because the deer and other unpredated herbivores are fucking the environment.
