He is indeed a top bloke.  He came to SF17 at the Bubble Car Museum, and I don't think we unsettled him too much...

Ha! I saw that for sale in my local classic car search. Did wonder who would be prepared to buy that.

If you breakdown or have troubles then Panhard65 (now on TDW) is your man. His workshop is just off Wellington too.

I'm not sure if Sir Humphrey would describe that purchase as 'brave' or 'courageous'! I'll mebbe have a random when the time comes!

Think there's a youtuber doing up his Rolls/Bentley on his driveway (My Mate Vince) . Some of the stuff is so over engineered when taken apart.
You are such a brave man for taking this on, can only be a Citroen SM next :)

Outstanding. When you come to sell it in a few weeks, let me know.

Immense and well bought, that one looks impressively not fucked.

I saw a similar  (Broken) one  2 weeks ago for very little and interested me  very briefly. Mind it's still for sale, tho to be fair the inside looks vastly better then the outside.

Ah yes, a proper shape for a posh English car, none of this bloated German nonsense. Well bought. Asking for others tho, when's the roffle?

One of these is similarly on my bucket list (well, actually a Silver Spirit I'm actively after, but I'd not say no to that either!).

Hopefully it behaves for you, biggest killer of these (aside from rust) is disuse from what I've seen.  If they're used regularly and maintenance is kept on top of - based on the couple of folks I know who have or have had them - they're not too scary.  The price of some parts on the other hand is bloody terrifying.  See also why disuse is so dangerous to their longevity.

She's built like a steakhouse but handles like a bistro.

Holy shit was this Glyn Johns' car??

Actual living legend, inventor of a method for recording drums that he used extensively with Led Zeppelin, engineer on Beatles recordings, and a whole lot more besides

If you watch Peter Jackson's Get Back documentary about the Beatles that came out recently you'll see him in it loads
