Plenty on here. Shame it isn't 1990 anymore.

That's brilliant. I love the sound of the Jaguar XJ6 with a 2 litre Pinto fitted on offer at Burton Street Motors. That would definitely be 'one of a kind'.

I think a Pinto powered XJ6 would be little if any more economical than the 3.4/4.2 original.

The under £200 selection from 'Tidy Cars' seems like the average shiter's wettest of wet dreams.

I'd be unable to choose between the £90 Aggro VDP and £184 Sh-Ital.

Visiting that Tidy Cars forecourt would be great, except it'd be very hard to chose one.  I'd be running from car to car unable to work out which one to buy.  Maybe the Strada or 504 - although at that price both are probably suffering some fairly advanced rot.

Got to love those prices. £114 for a Marina. Not £110 or £120, £114

Year's test, VW reliability* and Pogweasel pink paintwork, all for just over a ton.  How could anyone resist?

Unfortunately the Hammer fell at £255 putting this beauty well out of the entry restrictions.

Anyone know of any BL-Bust tat that fits the criteria of this thread* ? Mrs TRW has finally decided to donate her C1 to a family member and take on something cobbled together by The Firm as a daily.

Quickly tho, before she changes her mind!

*Budget is about (£300)

I wasn't sure whether I should post up a non runner but it's a Metro, it has an electrical problem,  how hard can it be to sort out?

My Mondeo would technically make it into this thread.  It was £205, but when I picked it up the seller had just put £7 of diesel in it as the light was on, so the car itself was £198.  Granted it needed a new turbo hose (which I'll be fitting this weekend, weather permitting), but it's MOT'd, it runs and I've done over 300 miles in it so far.  Half of the heated front screen even works.

No pictures but thinking of a yellow Megane is better than looking at that ^ http://www.gumtree.com/p/renault/yellow-renault-megane-cabriolet-1998-tand-t/1096527484

But if you prefer depressing and unreliable http://www.gumtree.com/p/renault/renault-scenic-for-sale/1096718431

Even with a battered arse this millsomatic 205 looks a bargain

Thank feck.

The seller of the damaged/repairable 'Sud shows some evidence of a dawning self-awareness: "very fast".  Hmmmm....

It's tempting to tell the A190 seller a hundred quid is more than fair for a car that's done over a million miles.
