Just found out why Madam MOTd her car, turns out she got pulled by the police and fined for no MOT, then days later got 3 points for speeding. She's bored of the Seat already and is on about getting a BMW next.

Genuinely now is she not taxing/MOTing because she’s forgotten or just can’t be arsed? Honestly I’m about as disorganised as they come and routinely forget when my MOTs are due, so I set text reminders. Or is this a case of just not caring? If it’s the latter she’ll be in for a surprise when they seize the thing eventually.

The garage I use sends me a text reminder a month before each car is due its test.

Every garage , tyre place , insurance company , anyone who’s done anything to my car in the last 5 years sends MOT reminders.

It comes across as a case of not caring to be honest. If she was still living with us I wouldn't let her be driving round illegally. She seems very lax about maintenance as well, she gave the Mrs a lift yesterday and apparently there was a knocking noise from somewhere, she said she couldn't be arsed to get it fixed
