The old bus is doing relatively well doing daily duties  it's haunting the local petrol station.

Few fixes have taken place..

1) I've had an ABS pump on the shelf for 2yrs waiting to be fitted as it has an intermittent fault with the pressure switch on the body of the pump, a 2nd hand sensor is £150 or a 2nd hand pump assembly with all the trimmings is..... £150 so i went for that..

Swapped my "new" accumulator sphere on to the new/old pump and thankfully the lights haven't come on since ;) :)

Then immediately it shat an abs sensor...... - so replaced that......

and then a week later another abs sensor... ha ha ha fucking thing...

Since then i've just driven it.

It's really filthy at the moment, I usually like to keep my cars clean but she hasn't had a wash since the MOT

still love it though drives a dream just needs endless tinkering, part of the fun if yer in to that ;)

Its now got a pulley bearing on the engine screeching to itself so got one ordered will fit that when it comes.

Needs a tank of fuel...

All standard RR things really ;) :)

It's been a while...

the old girl looks a bit different now..

Ever since the last MOT she has had a vibration through the car at around 60mph definitely annoying, i initially thought it was driveline related however the MOT lapsed in September and I just parked her up..

Weather however is getting shit again and I missed my RR so i totted up a list of things for her to pass an MOT.

1) the tyres were hanging.

2) ABS sensor.

1) tyres were expensive however FB marketplace came good once again and I found a set of 18" hurricanes with a new set of insa turbo tyres..

at a bargain price.

After.

compared to the old ones which after driving her with the new tyres it was the old ones causing the vibration, definitely got my moneys worth out of the old uns.

New abs sensor is a breeze to fit i lubes the shyte out of them to ensure they slip in/out easily, future proof for when I have to replace the chinesim shyte every other month.! ;)

Another slight improvement came in the shape of some new radius arm bushes as the old ones had gone down the shitter and the centres had come free from the rubber and the arm was knocking on the axle..

not good.

As she sits now after passing new MOT a few days ago,

The new tyres really have changed the character of the car, the old ones must of been square..

Oh and the radis arms, much better she doesn't wander around nearly as much ;) :)

I got money off my last P38 as an abs sensor had shimmied loose in the hub.

Bit of Locktite had it sorted soon enough
