Seen this at the local Lidl a couple of times now. I think they might work there.

Went to the British Motor Museum with Master Grogee who's now at an age to appreciate it I think.

So I know it's cheating but here's a few from our visit.

Here's what Tony Pond's moustache would have seen behind the wheel of that XJC touring car

One of my uncles was an amateur rally driver but worked for BL ( in IT or whatever it was called in the 70s), and managed to blag a go in the works TR7.

Nice! I imagine it was quite lively. Almost certain that Tony 'The Moustache' Pond was behind the wheel at some point.

That's a really good question, I wonder what BL IT dept was called? I'm going to go with 'Data Processing'.

You could put it in the Parking thread as well.

Nice to see an 800 in the wild though.

Amidst the horror of war there are moments of light-ish relief; this family's Mk3 cav hatchback will hopefully get them to Poland or Hungary.whitecav.thumb.jpg.0a4b65e58288c81f232a59954e7ce418.jpg

My Uncle left BL and went to the States very soon afterwards, so maybe there’s a story he never told us!

No photos as was driving, but I spotted a transporter filled with retros on the M1 northbound near Tibshelf services this afternoon - an 1100, a Pug 309, a Rover P4, a BMW E36 and a couple of others I couldn't identify.

Just seen this lovely Renault 5 GT turbo near my house, looked great in person and had the original dealer plates and window sticker- not travelled far from the dealer it was sold from.

Outside a village Co-op near me this afternoon, he shut the lid and zoomed off before I could reposition myself for a going up the road shot.

On today's spotting adventures I saw...

... a Peugeot 806 that appears to have been converted into a campervan of sorts...

Hmm I thought to myself that looks like an Age related plate, so go to the DVLA tab to do some bashing

and literally 1 registration mark to the left EDS620B is a plate-robbed Routemaster LOL

(bit of an odd one as this RM's mark was originally ALM81B cant see what someone would want in that?)

Not sure if this should go in the lazy spotters or parking thread.

I mean everyone parks half on the pavement down here but most still leave room for the odd pedestrian.
