@brownnova - do you want a breakfast on Sunday

Yes please!! 😃

I'm sure any surplus will get used up...

Will the pizza van be there on Saturday too?

Pizza from the bakehouse https://www.thesnowdoninn.co.uk/menu and kebabs from the van Friday and Saturday nights.

Sunday breakfasts cooked by my mate Chris using the facilities in the bakehouse. Chris is ordering the stock through his work out of his own pocket hence wanting an idea of quantities.

For anyone that's not used it, I'll vouch for the kebab van. Fair wait but worth it.

Fucking huge wait iirc 🤣

Think I'll budget to treat myself to a pizza Saturday night then, with bacon bap and coffee on Sunday morning! Will just need a few tins for Friday night of something

I am happy to go with the flow, pat the aeroplanes on their noses and give them sugar lumps.

Yesterday @Slowsilverhelped me get my steed out of storage, pumped up the tyres ready for launch on Friday.

I Know, I know no pain and suffering with this one!

Although I did get cold yesterday testing the A/C just in case the Met office got it completely wrong!

Aircraft museum on Saturday - yes

Breakfast on Sunday - yes please

Probably nicer to drive in what's probably going to be some rain than other things you could have chosen!

@Sunny Jim  Sorry for the delay, trying to pin down an answer from the girls.  2 (+me) are coming so 3 breakfasts please.  (Which I will buy and eat myself if they don't come).

Posted

Someone at work was offering a load of plastic & paper cups/cutlery/‘glasses’ for free so I have snaffled it all for Shitefest.

Anything left over can be used at a FoD event.

Some of us are getting excited with shitefest prep!

I have yet to do any preparation.

I'll head out this evening for some fuel, plus some food shopping so I don't come home to an empty fridge on Sunday.

Not like I'm leaving at about 5am tomorrow or anything...

Posted

Ooof - we are planning on leaving at 6am but I have a roffle win to collect en route 😂

I don't really know when I plan on getting there, I'll probably go via Abergavenny and Llanidloes again so it might take quite a while.

I think they are having a discussing about how a shiny, smooth riding, powerful and good looking coupe has no place at a shitefest and a very scruffy, underpowered, estate car is much more suitable!

I'm going via the mountain pass on the other side of Llanberis instead of via Caernarfon this time.

and the Land Rover is still - 4 weeks on - mid processing for Historic Tax and won't be back in time barring some sort of miracle in Swansea.

if you have done the historic taxation stuff at a post office, the "£NIL tax this for me, heres the V5 and a V112"

then from that point onwards as should be confirmed on a receipt you should of been given, the vehicle will be taxed, and if its been 4 weeks since then you can probably see it taxed on the DVLA's 1st party checker :)

so even if you dont have the V5 back yet, it should be taxed and all tickety boo, and even if for some reason its not showing as tax, you can use the receipt as proof, on the unlikely chance some copper gives ya grief about it

so unless its a case where you have had to declare it manufactured 1982 and are still waiting for the DVLA to get back on you with that, I think it should be all good :)
