My 3 lads ffs

one 18 year old Matt who has assumed a weapons grade "Kevin" persona

twin 16 year olds David and Louis who take it in turns being "Perry"

Driving me up the wall and slowly destroying everything in the house

How would you deal with this.

Matt home early yesterday from 6th form for some reason. We have an agreement that we put pez in his car that we also seem to have paid for so that he does the taxi'ing for his younger brothers to and from school.

Me "can you pick your brothers up?"

Matt - "no why should I?"

me "because I asked you nicely to. I am working and need you to do this"

Matt after a loud of Chuntering sets off late

12 mins later

Mrs Thestag "better come  quick and sort this out! WW3 has just kicked off and Matt has broken a window on his car, says he wants to kill David and is shouting CUNT at the absolute top of his voice"

In a nutshell David (who is a little shit at pressing the right buttons to wind anyone up) started a "blackcat" session with Matt about whose Design Technology project was better. This escalated once parked up and culminated it Matt picking up a handful of gravel and hurling it at David who he fortunately missed. The rear quarter window took the brunt.

The whole debacle is recorded on Dashcam up until the window break. That is the whole 32 seconds of the argument.

I calmed Matt down who to his credit had done so all by himself but not before breaking two windows in my Greenhouse which he refuses to accept! And got him to hoover the bits of glass out of his car.

Went to go see David who is adamant that Matt is a lunatic and that none of this is his fault.

Matt refuses to talk to David "he is dead to me" was the only legible bit I could get from his angry chuntering

Verdict - David had his phone confiscated for the evening - he was incandescent with rage and slammed his door amidst much verbal aimed at me, couldnt give a shit there

Matt will pay for second hand glass £22 and bond £12 - My labour is free

Neither Mrs thestag nor I want Matt to drive his brothers around anymore until A. he sorts his anger out or b. they can fucking behave themselves. thus free pez is now cancelled

Matt does NOT accept that he has an anger issue

David does NOT accept that he did anything wrong

I calmly explain to Matt that had he connected with David and done damage then he would be in serious troubles. More so how does he control his anger when out and about. In practice I think he learned a huge fuck off lesson yesterday and will continue to work with him on this until I am sure

I explain to David that he can be a nasty little shit and will come to great harm if he doesn't stop winding people up.

I am still left with neither really accepting they are in the wrong. This morning I drove the twins to school and within 100 yards I have Louis verbally abusing me because I hadnt yet bought him a new screen for his iPad2 - couldnt give a shit but then throwing punches at his brother. I stopped and told them to walk which they did.

I know that this will continue at 4pm

Should I

throw them out into the garden to sort it out

go to the pub with mrs thestag

mediate for the whole evening  again

or something else that escapes me

As if I havent got enough fucking stress and aggro going on already without these little facking arsehats adding to it

And breath, two, three, four

bang their fookin heads together and make the little ungrates walk for a month

Sympathy for you richardthestag.  My two are 7 & 5 so all problems are on a much smaller scale but I can already see it starting, the little one is able to needle his brother who then goes mental.

Easy for me to say but I would look at cutting parental finance for non-essentials - i.e. no new ipad screen until you shape up, car is off the road until behavior improves and greenhouse is fixed.

It must be Easter holidays soon, maybe a few days away with all of them away from screens doing something physical and slightly challenging?   I would make them walk miles round dartmoor in the rain, they will bond over what a terrible Dad you are for making them do it.

I wouldn't know what to do with your kids but social media users always suggest they'd be incredibly violent, so maybe just roundhouse/thunderpunch/windmill/KFC them right in the throat. Or something.

My dad used to bang me and my sisters heads together when we fought. It really fucking hurts !!

So therefore I do not recommend .

mum used to do that to me and my brother. something about banging heads, the biggest threat ever for me was the old "wait till your father gets home!" I dont know why I was so afraid, he only ever went for me 3 times in 18 years and on each occasion I can pinpoint the exact second that I overstepped the mark :D

They are all home and ignoring each other so great news. I am off out to the man cave to pull a Range Rover heater unit apart to sort the blower.

Will be going into my daily at some point

tried cutting nice things and tbh Mrs thestag overrides me so I just dont bother now. I do insist that when they want something doing/fixing they have to show an interest / make coffee / pass spanners. And that if they piss me off so that I tell them to bugger off I also stop fixing what ever it was that I was doing. The pug stood on axle stands for a weekend with the brake pads out of one side until Matty boy found the time to show some interest.

Just cleaned the A6 - the spoiler I ratted canned last summer is looking tatty - the paint is cracking despite me using a good plastic primer (UPOL). Knackers.

Hey, remember that diesel 605 I tried to sell (and was one of the reasons I left the forum for a bit?)

A mate of mine sold it (again) on eBay three weeks ago on my behalf and is being pissed around by another fly by night arsehole who hasn't paid for the car and won't confirm a collection date.

A knackered diesel Pug is not worth this much aggravation. Cartakeback have told me they can collect next week.

Can you see where this is going?

Buyer is not contactable. Mate is trying one last push.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions. Presumably you drive there in a diesel 605.

Some advert on the telebox, one of those build a model week by week subscription things....it's an e type jag and in all honesty it looks amazing...hmm that's interesting, I wonder what the cost will be..

Normal price £8.99 model complete in 100 issues, I'm sorry what?

Guess I'll have to wait for the AS version, build your own 1995 Renault Lagoona complete with authentic MOT failure sheet, just 20p per issue and model complete in 6 weeks.

I can't believe anyone would be thick enough to buy and build that E-type model, it's unbelievable

Probably a replacement for those people who bought genuine reproduction future heirloom investment real gold (paint) tea sets with Lady Di's gardener's face on them.

I love a nice model as much as the next guy, I bought this when I was about 13/14, it was £79.95 out of the Sunday paper, which seeemed an enormous amount for a model. My Dad paid for it and I paid him back at £5 a week from my paper round, which left me hardly anything for cigarettes and white lightning, I still have it proudly on display to this day

Nearly a grand tho? I dunno what I'm balking at most, the price or that it will take 2 years to finish it

£900 can buy some pretty spectacular models, never mind some Taiwanese placca thing that's been designed to be posted under a bit of bubble wrap and diy-assembled by mentals

There's your problem in one. Mrs S does parenting work with families on the verge of breakdown, and one of the things at the top of her list is consistency. Along with consequences and rewards.

Sounds like you're doing it right but Mrs Stag is letting the side down.

Ps. Sorry if I sound harsh, really don't mean to.

There are people I like, and people I don't like. I understand this is normal.

I like to see my friends do well, and generally don't worry about those I don't like. I don't wish them any harm as that's bad karma, usually they end up ruining their own lives without my ill will being involved.

I have a job interview tomorrow and I really want the job. But I have read Katie Hopkins tweets about London and I am thinking about how nice it would be if something really terrible happened to her. I mean really really terrible. Have I triggered some anti Parky karma timebomb or are there circumstances where karma looks the other way??

Discuss....

I would normally agree with letting karma sort things out without having any ill will towards somebody.

HOWEVER. Katie Hopkins is an exception. Anyway, why hasn't she fucked off to America yet, like she said she would if Trump won?

Posted

Is it possible for whatever relieves us of Katie Hopkins to also take out Piers Morgan? If so, I'm 100% in favour.

Imagine being stuck in a lift with Hopkins, Morgan, and Milo Yiannapoulos?

Work - FFS. I told you I am now taking Fridays off. Why do I need to tell you again? Also, do you really think its a good idea that I should make my own way home from Stevenage wiping out all the profits I made from at least 2 previous jobs? Gah!

She hasn't run naked the length of Regent Street with a sausage stuck up her arse yet either.  She promised to do that too.

Lying cow.

It's been going on for years.   I can clearly remember Esther Rantzen on That's Life reporting the case of some bloke who had got 77 deliveries of a pirate ship or some tat and then the whole thing had been stopped.   He got on telly with the compo-face on but can't remember if he ever got the bits.   Then they went back to going on about Lancias and children's playgrounds being dangerous the twats.

Stick it in a cupboard for 10 years and then sell on eBay as unfinished barn find project investment opportunity
