I think this top trumps the Princess Ann and Scimitar story

I heard that in some shots of Brideshead Revisited, you can actually see Jeremy Irons' UMM Alter in the background

What the fuck is a UMM?

Portugese utility 4x4. Never a kit. Sold here in small numbers, there have been a few on this forum…

I love it but suspect he wants FAR too much money for it considering it's been sat for essentially 13 years going off the Mot history. I'll ask him...

"Light recommissioning..."

If I was him I'd be holding out for £5k+, yes it'll need work but it's low miles and the body looks tidy. And it's a Lang...

Incorrectly listed as a 2.0. £1200 in Leicester which seems like VALU to me. Possible apprentice driveway trader tho:

"126k miles (nothing for theses diesel engines)

- will come with v62 form + full receipt + 1 key (no history with it)

Body work is not the best, has faded colour on wing. But not extremely bad either."

The vendor with all the Dafs for sale in Rhyl has another funky motor up his sleeve...

...looks ace that, though probably has the same consistency as a bowl of soggy cornflakes.

Old advert but it’s now down to £600, which is tempting for a clean S-Class even if it does have a few issues.

I seem to remember this advert being on there a very long time a go... Very long time a go but for £600 it's not exactly breaking the bank. I really liked my old one and that was in far worse shape though all be it with an MOT. I paid £600 for that.

So have I, despite already having the identical car in a better color. But of that mileage is true...

Interesting bit of angle iron welded over the suspension turrets.

They've been painted body colour to make them look like they are supposed to be there but they really shouldn't be. Inner wings are a weak point on these. The Dolomite/Toledos had plastic shields covering the box section that sat on the other side from this photo. The 1300s didn't so mud would collect on top of the box section and rot out both the box section and the inner wing over the suspension turrets. This is a novel* way of repairing* it.

Makes you wonder what else a good poke might reveal.
