We had two of those snow tracs in the 70s and 80s - turning circle of the QE2 and would throw a track on every turn. Powered by an air-cooled vdub engine but despite all that - I want it 8)

When I say 'we' I mean the estate my dad worked for.

This pile of bollocks is being sold by Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach [a contradiction in terms if ever there was] and I wonder what the chances are of pushing the creator inside it, roping the doors shut and pushing the who hateful thing off the end of the pier?

I drove a few for him and some did seem a bit weak, they were imports though...

The one I drove was an import, and auto, so possibly not the best representation of the breed to be fair. It wasn't slow, either - by most standards it was pretty quick - but it didn't scare the shite out of me at full chat as I was hoping it would.

*I made an offer of £3.20 for that shit Reliant.

No offence, Billy, but I would PISS MY SIDES if they accepted. Epic collection thread and many photos would be mandatory!

If Aixam made helicopters they'd look like that. What's the point of it? Even the seller admits it's a death trap.

{ring ring, ring ring}

Hello, Alright Skip Ambulance Services, Birmingham. How can I help you, please?

Ah, hello, yes. My nut allergy husband has just played Russian Roulette with a bag of Revels and thinks he may have swallowed the wrong one. Can you come immediately?

{five minutes later}

Madam, are you there madam? We're outside now. yes, that's right, the black one with two or three blow up gloves trying to bum each other painted down the side, but no-one is answering the door?

madam? Madam?

Drrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I can think of a cheaper way to die in absolute agony than spunking six grand on this.

Aye, those long exposed belt drives to the tail rotor definitely inspire confidence*.

That's the kind of machine that really brings the world of aviation to the everyday man on the street. Presumably by landing on him.

Totally useless size - CHECK

1950's tread pattern - CHECK

high likelihood of blowouts at speed - CHECK

find yourself skidding into fields at the first sign of rain - CHECK

If the above appeals - then why not whap a bid on this bad boy

Frankly, your car would hold the road better if you wrapped the wheels with sausagemeat instead of a stomil, but thats kinda the appeal

Has nobody spotted the utterly shite Renault R19 TSE with the leather seats yet?

Didn't sell @ £250 last time (N/R, No bids) and now been banged on at £100 N/R, 6 months rent, 10 months test. :P

A link might help!

Yeah, I did find that but forgot to post it up. :oops:

It's the equivalent of my BX Preview in a way: looks completely povvo boggo from the outside, but has really nice seats.

White, and 1.4 too.

Other than being a Megane, is there anything to watch out for with these? Not the 2.0l one especially, just in general.

Rust. Bad earthing playing havoc with the electronics. Make sure the remote locking works, otherwise you're dealing with immobiliser issues before you know it. Leaky sunroofs and avoid the 2.0 IDE engine like the plague. (The regular 2.0 is fine)

That Bitter is another one that was sold by the garage I used to work at G Eric Hunt Ltd Bramhope Leeds. Theres a couple of other Leeds registered ones that keep cropping up on ebay as well. I think we only ever sold 1/2 dozen so not a bad survival rate and chances are I worked on that when it was new.. as most of em came back in for some work or other. When the garage shut down the Bitter club bought all the spares and there was quite a few in the stores room .. Good luck
