It's a Lotus Eleven with a weird home-made hood! Imagine the sort of cocky young blade who was using that as a road car in 1965 London. Brill.

 

This is a Westfield but it's the only image I can easily find of the rear-end of one without a headrest, you get the general idea

I used to pause my video cassette and stare at that for aaaaaaages trying to work out what the heck it was (teenage years well spent). Thank dog for DVD technology, eh?

 

Talking of nice prints, I just saw Vertigo on the big screen for the first time and it looked and sounded LOVELY. Dunno if it'll be showing anywhere else in the country (at a 'Picturehouse' cinema) but it's worth catching if you can.

Awh, bless. I had to go back to work leaving the Mrs wheelchair bound with new born and young un to care for, a tricky time but all was fine in the end. I'm sure you'll be just fine too.

Just remembered the whole family riding 4 up through Greenwich park on the wheelchair :lol:

I couldn't decide whether the 'Linchero' was fit for the tat thread, or the bargains thread. But, given that it's given me 5 minutes of giggling like a schoolboy, and worrying that it contains something like the word 'lynch', it lands here.

I've decided that A) perversely, I like it; and B) if Liberace had made his fortune on the banjo and lived in a shack in the woods, this would've been his vanity motor. Word.

They don't give a toss if the posts are at the top of the page, it's all about getting the links onto Google by having them appear on a popular site. They really need deleting rather than ignoring. Lots of boards don't allow new members to post links, that might be something to consider. It wouldn't stop the 'ww w . s pa m c r a p . r u' bullshit, but it would at least make their nonsense a little less effective.

Not looking good so far, I'm afraid. Presenter wins my Cockney BellEnd of the year award for 2012 so far.

 

Just watched that and whilst it had some good bits, a lot of it was shit. Just happening to find some E-type bits in the back of a pick-up in a scrapyard that they didn't use anyhow being one of them.

Being shit is a vital aspect of their charm and a factor with which they trump their rivals massively.

 

And Classic Car Rescue seemed to have been directed by Mr Bean, especially that choreographed reversing into the engine crane moment. Shite beyond measure and worthy of a grin for the sheer inevitability of it all.
