What makes you grin? Antidote to grumpy thread

Sort of a grin. Sat down by the lake yesterday and a georgeous 20's blonde not wearing a lot came past with a good looking mediun sized dog. She shortly stopped, lifted the dog's tail and stuck her hand in the gap. All must have been well so she dropped the tail and continued walking. About 25 yards further on the dog stopped on the concrete path for a shit. She was instantly back in action cleaning up the mess very responsibly. She did not have a doggy bag so had to carry the stuff to a bin about 100 yards away . The noticeably full bag dispenser for doggy bags thoughtfully provided by the council was right beside where all the action happened. A blonde moment ?? Made me grin.

?? Are you saying the women grabbed the dogs shit with her hands from under it with no bag of gloves or anything on??

Basic renaults are fine and very good mechanically imo

I shall remind you that the 2000 mile Sandero I had as a discourtesy car developed an indicator fault in the 48 hours I had it.

Obviously it fixed itself when I took it back, which is typically french.

Twin rear wipers!

Oooh, a V6 too - speedy.

My 2.2 is in regular use now, I took it to work on Monday. Resurrecting the rear wipers on it could be a good use of the Christmas holiday.

A grin from me for a certain member on here giving me some handy Dyson repair advice - guess who?......

If the advice was ‘hammer a smaller Dyson over it’, then it could have been any/all of us.

I've seen similar in France. I was sat in the sun having eats after cycling part way along the Chemin de Halage tow path in Normandy when a bloke and dog walk past, we exchange the usual Ca Va? informal greet. The dog decides it now needs a shit next to the path and he just casually picked it up with bare hands and chucked it in the river. Wasn't a grin when I was eating....

It'll be a nice Christmas project for you! Take the cyclone apart and wash it, they like that!

Despite the wet weather, I didn't see the twin wipers on that Camry in action, and I was following it for several minutes, so suspect they weren't working either.

I disagree. You can see the swept area. I have faith.

The Blingo just sailed through its 12th MOT test.

The 'slight oil leak' advisory is inaccurate; the Amoco Cadiz appearance of the engine bay is merely the result of an unidentified* mechanical incompetent leaving the filler cap loose a while back.

Emissions are of a level which suggests it is in fact cleaning the air as it passes through.  It has done 18500 miles since its last ticket, including several long higher-speed journeys, which might be helping.

VERDICT: HUZZAH!!!

I saw "BI-TCH xxxx" near the Germany/Luxembourg border a few years back.  Whether she was or not is unknown.

I've got an old-style photo of a Fürth-registered lorry with "FÜ-CK 95" somewhere :-)

EDIT: can't find it, but have a similar Clio

Went to see the Wildhearts last night playing the Cavern in Exeter. I wasn't sure what it would be like as they were playing acoustic which is a first for them, but it was fucking brilliant !! It was a very small venue and was probably the best gig I have ever been to. Cracking atmostphere reasonable prices and a great crowd. They play Southampton tonight and finish the tour in Chester Friday night so check them out if you get a chance.

Could it have been "BIT-CH"? That would make it a local-ish Bitburg number.

It’s such a small thing but putting on and using a new set of windscreen wipers puts a huge grin on my face...

Such a simple man, me.

Put the reg of the Humber Septre on the lazy spotters thread into the DVLA MoT checker ('cause I really like them) and further down the page it said check for recalls. So I did and it said contact a Humber dealer. Anybody got a time machine ?
