Accumulated some more CX S2 parts for squirreling purposes:

Exhaust rear box

Pair of side repeaters (might convert to LEDs)

2 AEI units

Another o/s bi-optic headlight

Jetronic ECU

Electric window switches

Might be in with a chance of a spare triple LCD console display later.....

Does it have a flat roof and an Alsatian?

Didn't expect to see a competitive game of rugby.

Did expect England to give Wales a pasting.

As a bonus, I've cleared* enough crap from the shed to be able to see my rusty 200 BRM with its OMGHGF engine again.

Maximum grinnage.

12 consecutive wins......

Yes, quite the turnaround in the second half.

Might want to add the 90s to that if my Primary School was anything to go by...

I just can't think why anyone thought that a good idea

Nor me  but some work has gone into it.

the reason why i wanted to know where the "grin" thread. i put this over on the open forum, but its JUST such a great picture it should be here on the main board.

taken on Tuesday 19th, on the Wensleydale Railway, the Tornado GR4's had just over flown RAF Leeming, a former home of the Tornado F3 when they flew over their namesake, 60163 Tornado....

Is it steaming backwards or is there a strong wind from behind?

Went to a funeral on Friday and was invited to my Dad's cousin's daughter's wedding.

Then I realised that my parents and my sister had been invited 3 m9nths ago to the main event and I'd just been invited to the evening do.

I also found that they booked themselves into a hotel, without mentioning it to me.

That.should make me grumpy.

No, my wife encouraged me to ring my sister and ask why they didn't ring me to ask me if I wanted a room too.

She was proper squirmy and appologetic, with some pathetic excuse.

Given that I don't actually know my second cousin at all, I can't be arsed to go anyway, but this gives me great insight into my parents and sister.

I feel free.

Bit of a stretch to the indicator switch.

Nor me  but some work has gone into it.

It's a conversion kit for rural mail deliveries in America, so they can deliver letters without getting out. The picture has been flipped, it's actually a left hooker converted to RHD.

^ Interesting pics on that site. It doesn't let you download pics. All nice safe plastics and airbags, then all this ironmongery bolted between the dash and the driver.

Pedals get moved too, obviously. Would be a bit awkward otherwise.

Having two steering wheels and sets of pedals could be a bit of a laugh in something fast like a Nissan Skyline. A really fast cross-country drive would be 'entertaining'.

(off to check prices again . . .)

Think laterally. If you put 'right hand drive kits' into Google images, they're all there.

You used to get road sweeping lorries with full dual controls from the factory. I don't think there was anything to stop two people driving at once.

Wow! You learn something every day.

Really common here. Buying a new RHD car or buying the parts to properly convert a LHD model of car to it's correctly manufactured RHD counterpart with factory parts is prohibited, yet fitting a giant fanbelt with woodscrews to the dash and steering with it isn't.
