Niagara is kinda expensive because touristy. The American side is cheaper. 

The further you get away from there the more things return to normal. Head into Buffalo and the prices are the same as any big city in the northeast, barring Manhattan.

he was relatively happy cos he budgeted 2-300 quid a nighfor hotel but paid 120 ish per night

but then got ripped for parking for the two nights (had to change hotels cos coldnt get two nights together) avril lavigne was on so busy

but he said even with that added its come out less than he was expecting 

which is nice

but he complained about the rental car $$$$ - twice as much as usa that he did in september (being in almost the same area  (?!) )

he rented a mustang (again)

Final Destination Bloodlines springs to mind ....

 A small car in the lakes pays off , got parked up despite the crowds  , and got down some tight spaces whilst the big SUVs got stuck . saw that a few times !

we even took the car  on the Windermere ferry    , but bigger engine would be nice on the hills .

I agree about the tower and Bloodlines and regarding the car rev it harder and higher !!

After six months of wrangling with solicitors I've just received a phone call that we are exchanging contracts on my first home today. I should be able to collect keys tomorrow morning. 

Can't come soon enough, as I've technically been homeless since I had to move out of my rented house at the end of April.

The power has been out at the office since 10 this morning so the farmer (our landlord) has hooked the pto up from his tractor to drive a generator so our Electric car fleet is charging up using Diesel power 😀

I saw something about that on YouTube the other day, think it was American, when they worked out the diesel usage,, it worked out the same as running a ice vehicle doing 5.8mpg! 😆

Many years ago, my friend bought a brand new Star Wars edition Xbox 360.

A month or so ago I made noises about wanting a 360 again as they were great consoles (red light of death on certain models notwithstanding) and he mentions he still has it, and I can have it for £50.

Now with my trusty and dusty 12 year old PS4 which is an absolute trooper. 

I just need to get a new battery pack for the controller.

Even came with the white kinect, which I have no interest in but is a cool peripheral I guess.
