So, bus...? Pass. :D

Took the bus when I was at school. Second I passed my driving test I swore I'd avoid buses like the plague.

I prefer a train for commuting to Glasgow since it's just easier departing from Ayr. Did the bus once and it was hell - I don't travel as a passenger as well as I used to. Lol.

Have to avoid them for people who have been smoking before getting on, and anyone wearing perfume, deodorant, after shave etc,

It is actually better now with Covid as the mask I wear has activated charcoal filters and eliminates all but the worst of it.

I usually chose to walk though.

Around hear you would be called a twirly because bus pass people are always trying to get away with using their pass too early.

That has been around since the early seventies in London. I remember my dad telling me that one.

Discovering this lives a two minute walk away, after spotting it twice in one day.

I wonder if the owner would appreciate my 1:8 scale partwork version. 😄

Excuse the crap pic, a  passenger took it and it definitely wasn't the unknown driver, resting their phone on the steering wheel of a running, agricultural 4WD.

I* wish I* had been in a Bay Window camper van, at this moment. That would have been amusing.

I've just been and had a bail out.

According to the Mrs, doing it at this time of night is "animalistic and unsavoury"

Mental.

Animalistic could work but there's no coming back from unsavoury

Funny how when they want to get pregnant there's no restrictions whatsoever

It took a year for my wife to get pregnant which isn't uncommon despite what they tell you at school

9 months in I would've been quite happy for the turkey baster to take over a couple of times a week.

Is that what you want in a wife though , 30 years ago I had a GF who was up for anything ,I just didn't like to think about how she'd got so good at it .

It's my idiot sister's birthday tomorrow. To the supermarket!

Strolling the booze aisle Ma says "I don't think she really likes prosecco".
"That's good then as it's too expensive",  as I casually pick up a large bottle of Lambrini. 3 quid, get in!

That's reminded me of Zombieland which would give a better rhyme:

Stay classy Tallahassee

Er, no. I think my reasons are valid enough.

As a child we was very poor. To the point where winter was survived by me going and collecting anything that would burn for heating. Skips raided, tree blown down, school's old parquet floor etc. In five years I had one day trip to Cleethorpes as a holiday. Idiot sister meanwhile got invited to go to Florida etc with her gormless mate's family, and it will only cost Kerching! pounds that we didn't have. Ma somehow made it happen. Could possibly explain why we had no money for heating.

I survived with an appreciation of money, and the attitude that if you can't pay cash you don't buy it. You also look after what you've got, make do & mend etc. She's more must have the latest things, and if you've not got money well just take out another loan. She has the concept that if you borrow £5000 you now have £5000 of savings*.

The important thing to her is having a right keg*, and if things go tits well you can always get a loan, or Ma will bail her out, or I'll get conned into doing the work for her. Going to be a big crash one day.

Besides, she probably likes lambrini. Take her back to skiving school and drinking in the park with other drop kicks.

Was driving behind a Golf today and this cute German Shepherd popped up at the back window...

... a while later another head pops up and there's two of them in there. Almost like an overload of cuteness!

Now anyway, I'm no magician, but how the hell does someone get two full size adult alsatians in the boot of a MkV Golf?!

That all sounds like your mother's fault, not your sister's.
