As someone who works fairly frequently in Warrington, the traffic there is amongst as bad as I've ever seen in my travels around the world.
I work in Birchwood, but often had to stay at Winwick, as that's were the hotels were that had availability. I thought one day it would be really fun to try going across town. An hour later, I was about half way.

You tend not to notice traffic volumes increasing until you go somewhere else , Warrington always seem to be busy , especially considering it's surrounded by motorways

I quite often think where are all these people going at 11am , they can't all be pensioners , does nobody work any more

On Wednesday morning I drove past the site of a random 1700s lead mine with a few interesting remaining buildings, I went on a tour there years ago,  it was brilliant but we weren't allowed in the depths of it all because we were the general public and it was an open day. It's not open to the public usually and I made a mental note to look to see if there was another tour one day.

Got a message off a mate of mine this morning who said he has "great plans for saturday night". I was a bit concerned, but it turns out through sheer coincidence (I've never mentioned the place to him before) that these plans turn out to be that he's got us the keys for this entire mine, and use of the attached buildings that have a bunkhouse that we can stay in and drink beer and have a nice fire etc.

Call me a sad bastard but honestly that's about as good of a saturday night as I can imagine.

Have you made it out in one piece 🤔

Not only was it a 1700s lead mine, but it was haunted and cursed. Flipping amazing place to stay!

Sailing makes me happy. I've not had a holiday in two years and I'm really enjoying this one.IMG-20211108-WA0020.thumb.jpg.42ec58882b072ad9eff6c5d8f4e12999.jpg

Six officers, though. No wonder there's nobody available when you really need 'em.

Like it or not he didn't cooperate, so was bound to be manhandled(perhaps being huckled was on his bucket list?). Mooning is indecent exposure, a sex crime; the media and activists have spent the last few years lobbying the police and politicians to treat sex crimes more seriously so West Mercia have done that. What exactly would you have them do?

Is there a definition for decent exposure? Asking for a friend....

a pretty lady in a thong bikini could be considered decent (but you would be considered hatefully sexist if you looked)

Does it all depend on how decent looking they are?

Does the average flasher get the police to come to his house mob-handed? The police were just annoyed because the majesty* of  the law was outraged in the person of a speed van driver. So they decided to make an example of him. What would I have them do? Maybe knock on the door and talk to the man. It's hardly crime of the century.

The average flasher doesn't make life easy for dibble by revealing who they are with a VRN. They probably did knock on the door and talk to him, but he refused to open the door to them. Self inflicted, there's a lot of it about.

Are you suggesting there might be more to it than reported by the paper? 🤣

Also, I believe only one Officer can arrest a person for each charge.
