Drove 200 miles today, mixed journey, city plus highway plus a bit of spirited driving.

Car says average economy is 30mpg (uk) and at 80 it was ticking along keeping a constant 37 uk mpg.

Not bad for 485hp V8. All American Cars Are Shit...

First day of my new life in Spain.

I bought a petrol strimmer/brush cutter off of a local forum a  couple of weeks ago and went to collect it today. Seller did car restorations, and is has a bit of a Lotus fetish. Also had a pit by his garage so I was able to gaffer tape up the engine undertrays that had come loose two days ago.

This afternoon i met my neighbour and his wife. Retired builder from Belgium, and has all sorts of furniture and kitchens for sale. Most importantly, he has a Bobcat that he will loan to me to regrade the slope in my garden.

Been here one day and already know more people than I did after 30 years, 11 months and 22 days in my last house.
