Erm... is there something we need to know, Dan?  Have you made sure to delete your search history?

To misquote The Boss

' Driving out of Darlington County

Mine eyes seen the glory of the coming of The Lord

Driving out of Darlington County

Seen Dan handcuffed to the bumper of a State Trroper's Ford'

Don't knock it til you've tried it!

Wouldn't be the first time I've been shot at either...

At least I am not the only one who thought we had a contender for the double entendre thread.

Last night I had a beer made in Grantham, ostensibly by a lady. Unusually the label features a drawing of girl with tits nearly oot for the lads, and the flavour I had was 'aromantica'. Not bad, a bit like Oakham's 'Citra' with added incense. Says on the back of the bottle 'imbibe from a furry cup'. No it doesn't.

Just had new hearing aids tuned & installed by a very fit audiologist, whose voice I could have listened to for a very long time.  I'd forgotten how NOISY the world is!

In the early hours of the morning I remembered something important and set a reminder on my phone. It just pinged across my computer screen.

I have no idea what I am supposed to remember, other than the passage of time maybe?

Okay, so it's maybe not that exciting because it's only an E-type but hey, someone bought a printed article of clothing they want to wear with MY artwork on it.  Feeling pretty awesome about it.

Been to a traction engine rally today. There was a saw bench being operated by crazy men with little planning, and less cooperation between them. Just had to stand and watch whilst waiting for an amputation or 3. The guy cranking the handle 8 inches away from the huge saw blade was protecting his eyes with the traditional method of squint a bit.

Did that a good few months ago in my mates yard. He fired up the steam roller and saw so we could cut up some firewood. Right good fun. Dangerous looking but good fun.  H&S? Yeah, whatever.

An exercise in 'before and after'. This is the after bit :)

That reminds me of this picture from FOADWERX 1.0 when it was still working as a mill, making bobbins for the textile industry.

I've applied for a job as a Deliveroo cycle courier, could be a laugh.

Bet they don't accept me though 'cause I live too far out of the city centre.

Not a confirmed grin yet but I might've found a new world headquarters (read grim storage unit / workshop) 30% cheaper than current and about half a mile from my house

Moving the Panda sans engine might be an issue though!!

The Amen break has made me grin, and it has every day for the last twenty years or so, even before I knew what it was.

What I should be doing now, is servicing and checking over the Audi ready for trip.

What am I doing ?

Looking for the cassettes I purchased from Inconsistant's Shittania Music Club and looking on eBay for 14" Audi wheel trims in a 50 mile radius so I can pick them up this morning, and........

I'M GRINNING like a fool.

Today, the constant rain/drizzle/high winds/rain/frost/rain we've been experiencing locally for the past few weeks, decided it was time to take a break, which also happened to coincide with a bit of a Southern Hemisphere shite meet and a trip to a local-ish car museum. Here's a driveway shot pre-trip (apologies for Mondeo content):

Much chod was netted during our day out, the results of which I'll update in my ever popular spotting thread very soon.

Pop over and use it as a tax-deductable business expense for Japanese car reportage. I'm sure you could make a visit coincide with a Citroen gathering of some sort, also.

Ah! Bobbins!!

I visited a 'bobbin mill' (working museum) in the Lakes. I was swapping the pc till hdd and had a wander about...

CrazyMan guide [worked there when running] gave me c&v on the whole set up. Aged/dried wood... critical internal hole bore size OR not going onto loom...

In the Lakes cos lots of the right trees ;)
