Ball joint and track rod end changed. Said he couldn't work out where the noise was from so he cut open the ball joint, sprayed it and it was quieter so he changed it.

 

Parts and about 4 hours £95.

A non Autoshiter had his vehicle mentioned on here by a Autoshiter and me an Autoshiter passed the details to another non Autoshiter who is buying it. I am collecting it tomorrow with the non Autoshiter and that is where it will live. Just to muddy the water further it will only live 3 miles from me and on past form I will be able to borrow it when I like!

Had our buyer around our house today. He wanted to apparently measure up for curtains and see if his fridge fitted. Made me nervous, especially as we're at quite a late stage in this process and I really don't want the house chain falling apart.

 

So I spoke to my agent to see how it went. She said he was really excited about moving, got all the measurements he needed and was hoping he'd be moved in 3 weeks.

 

Three weeks?! I better get my shit together and sorted quick. There is a garage that needs moving into storage first!

Oh yeah I agree in not trusting agents.

However our buyer is splitting with his partner and so selling their place. Thus I can't imagine he'd be wanting to hang around his current place. Plus he now his conveyance pack. So there is no reason why it couldn't be 3 weeks.

Woke up in a shack in someone's garden, thrashed an AE86 around at Silverstone (including a gentle parade that at one point allowed me to get up to 80mph), drove a Mirai (hydrogen), drove a Celica Supra Mk1, saw a Reliant Rebel on the motorway, drove over 300 miles in the Favorit since yesterday, with every mile logged by the mileometer. Perfect.
