I had a '77 LTD wagon - remarkably similar styling despite being 13 years older.  That had the 400ci big block but was still slow as feck, like most late '70s Yanks.

Can i just say, this might explain, why America, has a reputation for shitness,  that is their car industry.  

I love it, whilst at the same time hating it's very existence.  The stupidity of Americans who got angry when Japanese cars were "killing" their home industry, when in reality, the executives who thought shit like that was acceptable to sell. 

Did I say,  I'd like to borrow it for a short holiday.  Perhaps attend a family wedding in it next year.  Especially if the American bit of the family come. A
