Maybe we should get T-shirts made up with number plates printed on them and wind councils up?

T13VOM doesn't appear to exist

tis on Retention last on a C70 which is a bit amusing https://www.freecarcheck.co.uk/free/?VDEzVk9N-MTYzNTMzNjM3Mw

should of been something big and fast, I was going to say something like a big engined 44 Ton Lorry or US/Australian Semi from before the speed limiter days, but I think T prefix is too new for anything like that sadly LOL

Of course, every time I see it, I read it quite differently and chortle

By contrast, DOD63Y was on a Metro which may have breathed its last back in 1996, by which time it probably was dodgy....

Would be worse if that was a 9 and not a 6.

I saw CLA5S on an Suv thing that I certainly didn't consider to be class in anyway at all.

There's also SCL 455S on a Mercedes S-class. That passed through here over a year ago. The plates had been darkened, which made me wonder if the owner couldn't decide whether to flaunt his car or evade detection.

Or a 9 instead of the 4, even!

No photo as I was driving, but coming back from Norfolk a few weeks ago, I knew I was back in the shithole that is Essex when I saw an Evoque or similar with the plate W4XED

In that London, any plate ending in "1 RAN" denotes owner is likely to be Persian:

A proud, passionate people, the Iranians. But not to the extent of actually living in Iran. And besides,  they quite like it over here.

No photo as she was in front of me in traffic - a stilted SUV thing with the number spaced to read  WW  57EPH.

I need to make another one because this plate has been misplaced/stolen but this is the tractor.

No idea why upside down

Posted

Can't see the tractor but SU was issued in Kincardineshire which is now the south of Aberdeenshire. Possibility it started out on one of my neighbours farms! :-)

Ah, the tractor hasn't actually held the plate for at least 20 years, it took some digging and some help from @LightBulbFun to get the correct V5.

Here's the tractor being taken for a walk (from my thread)
