Also "had a lot of money put into the build", I know building materials are expensive at the minute but these "builds" entail cutting bit of the car out which I reckon is free.

I hate this wanky "pickup conversions" they all look shit and just guarantee that the current owner will be the last before the bridge.

Pretty sure 1250 would get you a normal 407 coupe, never mind one with the boot replaced with plywood that doesn't even run ffs.

Look how waterproof it isn't, just imagine how bad the interior smells with all the rainwater soaked into it.

This fallacy of "I've spent money therefore I should get it back" pisses me off. It costs money to rent a tank to crush a car, so should that be reflected in the value when you sell the crushed car?

It is hard to see where £3k went on that isn't it? If they'd done it themselves it would have cost the price of a bit of plywood. Then you could almost understand it but to pay somebody else just makes no sense. And if he really thought it was that good wouldn't the money be better spent making it work again?

He made that because he closed the boot on his stupid ebike and smashed the glass and balked at spending £120 for new glass fitted.

Part worn brake pads anyone?

"Only covered 800 miles and are literally brand new" says the seller, who must not know the meaning of the word literally.

Alanis Morissette didn't understand the meaning of ironic but she still made a song about it which sold in the millions.

Looks like the fastest way possible to Stoke Mandeville hospital since Jimmy Saville bought a V8.

Can't find a mechanic to look at a modern Peugeot, but can find one to hack the back end off and line it with plywood. Makes sense.

A sad lesson to keep even your project cars insured. Looks like that lot are worth their weight in steel

This is an unrepeatable chance to buy a piece of Bavarian motoring history.

However it does have many parts (glass, doors, fuel tank, bumpers, bootlid etc - no bonnet)

A wheel, a cracked windscreen, a rusted fuel tank, a battery from the 80's, and some rubbery thing

Thanks for that, I'm sure someone will be keeping an eye out for F461LJH miraculously returning to the road in a remarkably short space of time.
