Tielhol is a company I didn't know existed, though the cars that made me aware of them are the Citadine and the Tangara.

The Citadine is available in a variety of body styles, including van and pick up (they all look charmingly daft).  The Handicar variant is probably the most interesting since it looks to have some clever engineering going on to problem solve wheelchair access.

Cheating a bit here as it's an Autocar rendering based on a prototype but just look at it.

Growing up in 90s NE London / Essex leaves a mark and this may very well be my perfect car.  How hard would it be to import a facelift 3 door and convert to RHD?  I have a nice 302 V8 to go in it.

Easier than getting some custom built 'handed' Saph Cos wheels and then fitting them wrong.

Ha! Yes good spot.  Think i would fit Escort Cosworth 5 spokes which was the 'upgrade' at the time.

and a 3 wheeled (amphibious) vehicle called the salamander thats not built for the disabled

Presume the project died when he did in 2009.

Thanks to Facebook I now know Villiers engines were made in France under licence by Monet-Goyon (motorcycle company I don't know, went bust in '59).

This is  my Monet Goyon. It now has a NOVA and I will apply for the registration in December. This is as restored as it's going to get too-although I may wire brush the exhausts and give them a coat of BBQ paint.

Sounds stupid I know, but I genuinely didn't realise Peugeot had launched a second generation of the 508 until this drove past me this morning.

Wikipedia sez they launched earlier this year... 

I wouldn't even know where to go to buy a new Peugeot locally these days, even if I wanted one.

The only dealerships I know are all BMW, Audi or Range Rover, each banging on about their low low monthly PCP payments... 

Still, looks a tidy enough thing. One for my Jalopy 2040 list, quite possibly.

I reckon psychologists could have a field day when discussing contemporary car design... 

In uncertain times, I think there's a subconscious desire to appear aggressive in an attempt to divert possible attack.

Possibly this explains the rise in massive trucks and SUVs, - and also the latest spy shots of the 2020 Range Rover Evoque…

Hell, probably... there used to be plenty of Pug dealers locally (Regency Cars in Newtownards; Turtles of Ballymena to name but two) but yeah, they've probably all been gobbled up by the Charlie Hurst leviathan...

Since the Hurst complex on the Boucher Road is now basically a small town, I'd never go near it now for fear of not being allowed out unless I sign a finance deal on a Quashcow... their roadfront stuff is all Jaguar, Porsche and Maserati so no wonder I haven't seen many 508s!

I think that one was called Scamander - I remember Evo magazine doing a piece on it.
