Yoss Posted July 25, 2025 Posted July 25, 2025 I've seen this TR4A at the local Lidl three times now, and twice in the last week. Interestingly parked in the parent and child section. I can confirm there were no children present. Remspoor 1
Zelandeth Posted July 25, 2025 Posted July 25, 2025 Was quite surprised to find this parked next to me when I got back to the car in Tesco car park this afternoon. Don't think I've ever stumbled across one of these in the wild before. Remspoor, Datsuncog, Gompo and 3 others 6

Although initially only about 600 right hand drive Funs were manufactured for the U.K. market, dealers told Skoda they were selling like hot cakes, so this number increased to about 1,000 by the end. I owned one and loved it. Funs had a 1600 engine, whereas Felicias had a 1300 one, so they were quicker, and, being lighter, were much quicker! They looked great, and with a few additions (air horns, yellow headlights etc.) were the ultimate "cool" Skoda. My daughter, who had derided my choice of cars until I bought the Fun, was always "borrowing" it, to pick up her friends, who also thought it a great car. The registration, S 300 FUN wasn't too pricey, either! Remspoor, Morris 63, Yoss and 3 others 6
neil1971 Posted July 26, 2025 Posted July 26, 2025 I was thinking this CF ice cream van was a good spot but it's not even the first one on here today! Guessing it's the same coachbuilder as the one spotted by @500tops as it looks pretty similar in shape. @eddyramrod eddyramrod and danthecapriman 1 1

High Jetter Posted July 28, 2025 Posted July 28, 2025 Went to my usual place to book MOTs for wife's Auris and my A4 - both due on August 28th - and spotted this lurking nearby: One owner from new, last MOT in 2017. They've just done a gentle re-commissioning on it, on-one in his family wants it and he's going to be very picky about who the new owner is. The car was originally sold by Clark & Lambert, where I worked in the parts department in the early 80s. Caffyns took them over and soon after closed it, selling the site for retirement flats. High Jetter Posted July 28, 2025 Posted July 28, 2025 ^^^ @vitessesteve if you're still around, am happy to dredge my memory for other info on the site if you're interested.

Bmwdumptruck Posted July 29, 2025 Posted July 29, 2025 Just outside the campsite we’re currently stopping on in Forfar. History shows no mot for over a year, but not exactly high miles.
