ahh but there were two one was bigger than the other

early cars with two piece dash had smaller badges than later cars with montego dash

Mine's an early car with the early dash, but it must have been built during the changeover period as it has the later, bigger badges. The early Austin badges were smaller and had the Austin-Rover logo attached to the 'N' of Austin.

I'd be all over that if I was closer (and had a towbar on one of my cars).  Given the distance involved though, it'd be cheaper to build one from scratch!  Shame, I hope someone takes it on.

Cheers Eddy! The larger, later type is what it had originally. I have repainted the original but it's a slightly different shade of silver to the 'Maestro' badge. Not that it really matters I suppose!

I have 4 fibreglass wings, bonnet, bootlid, grille and some lights in the store at work that we're clearing out.  I said that I could advertise them but not to expect too much money. 

 

Tatty but usable condition,  the front wings have been attatched to the bonnet so expect a few small holes.

 

It was last used as Grease Lightning in a Drama production but they resisted the urge to cover the beige paintwork in something bright.

Any interest in these wheels? They're 15" and Ford pattern, I think from a Mondeo. Fitted with Nankang Toursport 611 tyres, two with plenty of tread, two fairly low but legal. £50 the set - collection from North Wales, unless you live on the way to somewhere I'm going.
