So, the carry cases. The one that really caught my eye was this early Hot Wheels Custom Volkswagen. Sadly the headlights are missing along with the sunroof

There were probably 50 cars but those are the only ones worth posting really

I have a Falck Transit Wrecker, supposedly Danish(?) Market only. God knows how it ended up at a carboot.

OH MY GOD can you even imagine the state of my trousers if I received this for Christmas as a lad?

(or an adult).

Fortunately, it being on an auction site outside eBay (link) means I'm not going to bid on it.

This is amazing! I might even try and bid on it (a treat to myself as I was 40 on Sunday). Oh, and I won that auction I’d previously mentioned regarding the model I’d never seen before. I’ll post pics once back in the office (currently in North Wales).

Another 1:64 scale Greenlight model, but with a Christmas theme today - a 1955 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery of "Bob's Tree Farm" with a customer's snowy pine tree on the roof rack.

The opening tailgate is a nice extra. Tow hitch gives the option of a trailer.

Greenlight almost managed a fault-free model, but unfortunately, the "M" in "FARM" hasn't printed properly on the driver's side.

Despite the minor print defect, I really like this one. It's going on the mantlepiece for the festive season.

One of us should definitely own it, and as much as I'd love to have it, I'd rather I didn't!

I found this today.

Strange looking Land Rover.

20211201_143631.thumb.jpg.9148b4d2d7d3994d888feef7c116687a.jpg

That's a Dodge Charger on the wrong card.

Premium model too, never seen an error on the more expensive versions before.

Decent find! Looks like the blister matches the car, so the wrong card got loaded into the machine.

I like that

No cars today, but I did pick up this Matchbox Suzuki RG500 as ridden by Barry Sheene.20211201_184824.thumb.jpg.d466156b82d7926933f539cd1bbe3254.jpg

It's quite a crude model,& is missing a couple of  decals,but I was happy for 40p.

I used to have loads of 1/18 bike models,but sold them.I did keep a Suzuki TL1000S though,as I had a real one.Now it has the RG500 for company20211201_185040.thumb.jpg.f998d7990d4034220c5dca92ff4e6519.jpg

That looks lovely!  However, that very fact makes it too good for my purposes.  I want one for not just Code 3-ing, but Frankensteining.

I'm not above such things, I have form, as they used to say on The Sweeney.  In fact I'm partway through making a Volvo 740 estate out of a Corgi Junior saloon and a Mercury Sable sedan out of a Matchbox station wagon.

I'm still in need of at least two Vanguards mk2 Cortinas to convert to 4-door, and a Vanguards 100E for the same purpose.  They do, of course, need to be ridiculously cheap, by which I don't mean a fiver posted (that would be too much!).

I've got that in Police spec. The 2 pegs on the bootlid should hold a walkie talkie.

I've had it since I was 4 and I remember opening that big box for it at my granny's house one Christmas. How it survived in mint condition I'll never know. The wiring is toast though.

I bloody love Meades. "Brighton is a tainted ideal as much as a physical entity".

Aside from him, I bet I'm the only person who has The Disaster Artist next to Robbe-Grillet...
