Holiday bulletin. Spent half term week in Tenner Reef. Fair bit of ageing old rammel knocking about, sadly wasn’t able to photograph much, though my son noticed this amazing old Peugeot just casually parked up in a small plot off the main drag:

Plus a VW in Mystery Machine livery

and that’s a mk1 Renner Megane estate in the distance. Looked clean

Spotted no photo: a burgundy late model Citroen Visa, a very early Fiesta Courier van and a tired looking Mk3 Granada were the highlights. Ok just boarding the return flight now, over and out.

What’s that? Yet another trip to Turkey?

And this time I’ve resisted the temptation to photograph any Tofas Sahins, or much else in fact. However have a couple of drive bys:

Just about a double Renner 9 spot, though the silver one is a couple of facelifts newer

Caught a Lada Samara at last, this one must be a later model judging by the tail lamps

Yard containing various old rammel, Merc van I think (were these also badged Sprinters in the markets that got them?)

And further over a bit more assorted tat, I think that’s an old Anusol with some sort of car based pick up truck further back.

Couldn’t get my own photo of this VW Santana/Passat saloon but thankfully Google Streetview visited 5months ago and did the job for me.

Finally, not shite but guaranteed future Low Cost Big Liability status, I think it said something there about “electrified”.  Istanbul airport prop amongst all the overpriced duty free outlets and £15 cups of coffee. That’s me on the plane back now, last trip out here for a while (hopefully/regrettably).

The van is actually a Mercedes MB100 based BMC Levend. The very same name applied to the Leyland Daf/ Sherpa based thing they did too.

You have greater resolve than I.

I will confess to spending an hour or so looking at how much Turkish Lira a really good one costs on local Facebook marketplace.
