Noel Tidybeard
This arrived today, Vanguards Mini 1275GT. No mirrors are fitted to it strangely, so nicked one from a DeAgostini Lada Niva. Made it look a bit better. Another to add to my collection of 1970s BLshite Vanguards Mini 1275GT frt.JPG Vanguards Mini 1275GT rear.JPG trevor isnt suposed to have a mirror as he's an early 1275gt- whereas if you see the white or vermillion ones they are later with a mirror

Split_Pin
Revell really do make lovely models and at not too silly prices. The DKW in particular has some lovely detail.
Spottedlaurel
The Datsun got a nice new coat of flashy orange. Looks good, and well done on changing the wheels - I never liked the 3-spoke style as much as what you've swapped onto it. I have a couple of the Majorette Z, one in metallic blue and the other one is red (not pictured below). They sit rather high, the Matchbox one is better in that regard. 1:64-ish Datsun/Nissan Z/ZX diecasts by Spottedlaurel, on Flickr junkyarddog

Did make, you mean? They stopped making 1/18 scale diecasts over ten years ago. The last 1/18 they made was this "composite" Commodore: danthecapriman, 59Impala, mercrocker and 2 others

Split_Pin
I didnt realise they had stopped making them. I have that Commodore. Its lovely but it is the most fragile model I have ever owned, it can barely support its own weight. Junkman

Junkman
If you say "1962 Olds Starfire" even in a round of car guys, how many of them do you think can instantly think of what one looks like?Yep, exactly none. It's thus all the more astonishing that someone decided to make a model of it in a quality that challenges Sunstar's Platinum Series.
