There's fewer greater thread titles to read on this forum than one that includes "FSO", "Turbo" and "Camper".
And it bloody well delivers too. Well done

CYANIDE STEVE got a reaction from spike60 in FSO Camper turbo conversion
Thought I'd just do a quick update on the camper. After 17,000 painfully slow miles since March this year I decided to rip out the N.A. XUD and replace it with a turbo intercooler version from a citroen ZX. The engine had only covered 114,000 miles with full service history but I still took the engine apart anyway to check it over. I had to replace the sump and oil pump for the FSO items so they clear the crossmember and steering links. I replaced the Lucas pump and injectors with Bosch items and also had the pump modified for more power. Rather than the top mounted interwarmer as fitted to the ZX, I fitted the largest front mounted intercooler I could fit in the available space. There were quite a few modifications I had to do to make the engine and turbo fit but it was well worth the effort because it is a pleasure to drive now and it achieved 118.5 BHP on the Dyno yesterday.

You need a boost compensator, I think you can add one to the NA pump.
