Spottedlaurel Posted August 20, 2017 Share Posted August 20, 2017 1970 gives me some good options, but happily one of my favouritest-ever cars was launched that year so it would have to be a Manta A: 1971 Opel Manta A 1.9SR Rallye by Spottedlaurel, on Flickr OK, my old one wasn't a '70 but it's pretty much the exact spec I'd have again. The black on mine was non-standard, my ideal would probably be metallic blue. I gave up trying to find an image of an unmessed one with the right combination of colour and wheels. I did briefly consider Mk3 Cortina or Avenger, and 1970 was a bit of a sweet-spot in American cars as it gives me full-size land yachts before they started fitting horrible bumpers. Nothing Japanese?
