Great to meet people and have some interesting chats about all sorts of stuff. All good - nice to see so many different vehicles and people and put faces to names I’ve only seen online and to catch up with some I’ve met before. Sorry not to speak with everyone - will try to fix that next time. And take more photos. Never saw the Ewe tree. Will look out for it next time. Yew tree is in the grave yard at St George’s crowhurst. Three Speed and Yoss 1 1
richardmorris Posted April 12 Posted April 12 TIPO decided to have its first electrical hiccup and error message on the way back- infotainment system not available,! That lasted about 30seconds before it reset itself. Obviously telling me I should have come in the new* car.
FakeConcern Posted April 12 Posted April 12 Great meeting at Flower Farm (thanks @inconsistant!) Mrs Concern and I really enjoyed meeting everyone and seeing the interesting cars. I took a few crap phone pics so here they are The Invacar was Mrs Concern's favourite Handlebars! Des very kindly let Mrs Concern sit in it, but I can't find the photo I took (just thought that it must have been on her phone!) Great little detail! Triumph had the same sun roof as my first Mini, Mrs Concern reminded my of the time the deflector hit an owl in France! The SJ410 was a time warp car Also had a great chat with @Sir Chocolate Teapot about them as I used one for work back in the 80s Red! Citycar... Aldi Aldi in bits Engine access is amazing compared to Mrs Concern's Modus! Noisy black 200 (I was going to say Sylvia!) I managed not to take pics of lots of others and somehow didn't see a Tipo at all! LightBulbFun, Joey spud, Three Speed and 4 others 7

Many fine cars and my pictures would add nothing. I still think that the Citroen Traction Avant is the coolest car out there, being so far ahead of its time. Mine in contrast is probably the least technically adventurous.........except of course running on LPG, so here's a picture at the petrol station in Fleet on the way home and the price, which is mysteriously less than anywhere else south of Birmingham. Hopefully see you all next time. Perhaps next time we will see @RobT, @Stanky and @CaptainBoom? Hope they are all ok (I know Rob is ok as away on holiday) Apologies, I received some bad news early morning about an ex-work colleague who helped me out a lot when I started in my first job (he was like a second father to me). I dropped everything to head to North Essex see him one last time, I've only just come back, shattered. It looks like it was a superb turn-out, and the weather was kind to you (which always helps). It's very heartening to see the variety of Southern Autoshiters. Weird Car, lisbon_road, High Jetter and 3 others 6

inconsistant Posted April 12 Author Posted April 12 Thanks everyone! What a great turn out, just when I was starting to think classic car meets were getting a bit samey we pulled that line up out of the bag! Nice one fellow shitters! A special big thanks to those of you who travelled quite a distance to be there, it’s much appreciated. The Kitten Reliant and the CityRover in PLi spec (pig leather interior) really made my day. 'twas I who was stunned at your bravery amongst HGV's and SUV's. On 4/12/2026 at 7:14 PM, vtec-e said: Glad to make it to Flower farm even though I was a late arrival, there's always one! My first time to FF and good to meet you all and your cars. I was pleased to assist improving the bonnet opening /closing on the Corsa van, and thanks to @Yoss for a handy rag to wipe off the excess lubrication on my skin. @Peter C I was on your wing until a mile before the M40, when the BMW M140 between us failed to keep up with your acceleration. My last sight of you was overtaking on the outside lane of the M40 slip road heading West, from my view point on the M40 East slip road. The MG appeared to run well with no odours or smoke emitted and easily keeping up with the other traffic. Though I was disappointed to not hear any rattling bass when alongside you! Thanks for the spontaneous help @vtec-e and @inconsistant. Being able to open my bonnet is helpful sometimes, although I try not to do it too often. @Weird Car I have found your Youtube channel so I hope to see some interesting odd cars there. Thanks everyone else for taking photos. I have stolen a few to remind me of the day, and to post something visual in my project thread when it catches up with present time. Meeting everyone in person did inspire me to write over a year's worth of updates on that thread which was more fun than I expected. We had superb variety of shite, and filled our corner of the overflow car park. High Jetter, vtec-e, inconsistant and 4 others 7
worldofceri Posted April 14 Posted April 14 Love this. I don’t think you could organise a more varied and interesting car show if you rented out a stately home for the day and got an insurance company to promote it. LightBulbFun, Three Speed, Joey spud and 5 others 4 1 2 1
