What an absolutely marvelous way to go places in comfort and style. It’s almost 20 and the design still feels fresh!

I like every single one of my cars, so I can post all of them here, and none of them will be out of place. This one just racks up most of the mileage.

This car smiles back at me.

In fact, all our cars are quite smiley.

Say 'cheese!'

My two beauties. I absolutely adore them. The Jag is just perfect for that classic lazy cruiser, but a car that still retains a close tie to Sir William Lyon's original classic Jaguar design and shape (this Jaguar appears to have been heavily influenced by the Series 3 XJ). It's the kind of car that even the most non-car interested person will know that it's a Jag.

The Vectra is an amazing old boat. It just does what I want it to do and it has completed everything that I have wanted it to do, taking me to work and back, to Brussels and back, doing tip runs, fetching sofas (twice). I am returning it back to how it should have been in the early 00s, clean, original and reliable.

If ever I do move abroad, I'll be honest, if I still have them both, they'll be coming with me and fitted with Belgian number plates.

My old ex taxi, tired and not the fastest thing on the road but I like it.

The main car which is quite unique among today's cars and a nice little thing and should be perfect for my long winters. I like it.

I'm loving the Audi now, it's not particularly fast and has loads of niggly jobs that need doing but enjoy driving it. Plus I really like this picture!

Megane - drives like a big mk2 Clio and costs buttons to run.

BMW 323i - I wanted an E36 with a 6-pot and a manual, and I got one in 2021. The soundtrack is still addictive to this day (and it still does 30-odd mpg too).

The Land Rover - objectively shit in every measurable way, but it oozes character (and oil). It also attracts a LOT of attention whenever I take it out.

Yes, it is basically the antithesis of shite and goes against pretty much everything this site stands for... but I cannot help but smile when I'm driving it.

Some shite, some not so shite. All do what they do very well and bring a smile to my face.

I love this old crate.  It's also about the only one of the fleet that hasn't annoyed me in some way recently (other than the i-Miev, but that's got its MOT coming up next week so there's still time...).

It's crap and probably the worst car I own by all measures - impractical, noisy, a bit tatty, uncomfortable for long journeys, you're going to get wet if it rains (even with the roof up), slow, pretty crap handling, everything rattles + shakes and an engine that has a reputation of nuking itself.

PXL_20230513_200557633.NIGHT.jpg.a62e13dda87f8fb930822b278fb4d182.jpg

But it's still, by far, the one car I enjoy driving the most (providing it's sunny). Also garners the most positive attention by others when out and about in it.
