Switches that feel good.  I know plastic mechanisms save weight and you can get a consistent feel across all of them now, but some old cars where you could feel a metal ball bearing on a spring in a greased mechanism is a tactile delight.

living out in the cuntryside twin reverse lamps are pretty much essential for dark unlit reversing

The central vents on my nova always blew cold air, this used to initially annoy me but it’s actually really useful. You can have the windscreen or your feet nice and toasty whilst having a lovely stream of cool air hitting your face.

Also you’d have somewhere to keep the keys whilst driving , rather than putting them in a cup holder or door pocket then having to search for them before you get out of the car. The other alternative, keeping them in your pocket can cause issues if you get dropped off , your wife then takes the car somewhere and only discovers she hasn’t got the keys after she’s switched off the engine… Ask me how I know.

My Zoe is peasant spec so has wind up windows in the back, my kids were incredibly excited by this as they hadn't seen them before
