That's just brilliant, please buy it!

Ooooooh Matron, I’ve had a crisis!

Those seats look like all of the best things in the food world:-

butterscotch flavour Angel Delight
Hash browns
Cheesy Wotsits

I need to look away now before I get a thick repeater.

I think we’ll all have to pull our socks up now, unless someone is going to pull a LHD Allegro with no seats out of a hedge in South Africa, weld it up with pigeonshit, piss into the brake fluid reservoir and drive it whilst standing up across Africa, onto the ferry, across Europe and back to Cleethorpes where it’s put into daily service as a school run car, the title is going to our man Rocket88

oh and get it bought, please!

Always used to see quite a few Murena's and Bagheera's in the Jesmond area of Newcastle going back 20 odd years ago because of a specialist garage called sports cars unlimited. Still there i think but no longer a Matra specialist.  Lovely looking things.

Seats from a billionaires yacht.

I am sure I had a blue majorette one when I was small.

I had one of these on NL plates a few years back..... I loved it.... Central passengers less so.

I love 'em. The Talbot engine is just musical*

I take it its the 1.6

I'm not sure on support for them now but NL specialist was a godsend.

Cooling was a thing to watch out for on them and there was a guy shoehorned an Alfa V6 in there - then totalled it 1st or 2nd time out..... 🙄

It was a bucket list car for me...

I steered clear of the Bagheera though.

Hope you can get a deal on it.

Absolutely adore these- any minor misery it could potentially cause you would be far outweighed by the glory of owning the best car ever. DO IT.

Excellent! IIRC the much missed @breadvan72 had one ? I nearly bought one myself during lockdown but instead bought a VP1500 allegro, as I’m impulsive and mentally  ill.

If you are like me you will buy it, and then also buy an alpine a110 and a mk1 espace from @Skizzer. Because. Or Actually maybe @Skizzer should buy the Matra instead, it’s very much his thing.

I can’t work out how a three seater Chesterfield can fit in what looks like a teeny little 70s sportster. Looks bloody comfy though.

I assume the driver of such a beast needs (at the bare minimum) a bucket perm, open shirt, chest merkin, medically inadvisably tight flared slacks and cuban heels.

Wait a minute, is @Skizzer selling the espace?

Unfortunately, I meet none of the above requirements…

Buy that. Trust in your mind you have already.

I reckon getting the wheels refurbished would make a world of difference to that. What’s the chassis like? Galvanised on these IIRC?

Blimey, what a day for 1980s French chod this is turning out to be...

Galvanised chassis, composite panels - pretty much rustproof, bar the trailing arms.

Nicely bought, don't think I've ever seen a Tagora Sport  Murena in real life. Apparently they're awesome little things to drive in a spirited manner; LJK Setright rated them highly.

Enjoy!
