Please though, if you are posting, try to not make the exact location obvious in case they end up with The Beaded Burgler in their yard doing a youtube video. Anyway, do you ever pass a house and think the owner is deffo a shiter (whether they know it or not?) This one is near me, the MG on the road has been parked there for at least the 10 years I've been driving past, it may sometimes move, I can't confirm. Dunno if the Lexus belongs to the same bloke, I like to think it does. Satellite view shows in the region of 20 festering BL heaps amongst a series of ramshackle shed and container structures - SHITER CONFIRMED So, any good hoards near you? Went to that bloke with the missus' Metro as he's got the only hydragas pump in the area (afaik). Not sure what his plans for the B are, he reckoned someone had offered him ten grand for it, even in that state. Looks even worse now. He's had all sorts of BL chod parked there over the years, including three production-spanning Allegros all there at the same time. Was a sight to behold! Kingofdnb
There's a few round my neck of the woods These has been around since I remember. Then I've only noticed these 2 on my new route. This one also had a PT cruiser pickup what I can't find a picture of. Then there's always been a landbarge parked outside this house Before Recently But with a 300c outside. Then a few doors down this chap always has something special outside. There's also a Suzuki cappuccino, a rolls Royce which had a garage built over it and a house which has about 10 Citroen Picasso's in its driveway. sdkrc, Dave_Q, bunglebus and 1 other

bunglebus
Not quite in my area, but you know you drive past that house, and there's loads of stuff rotting on the drive, and slightly less rusty stuff on the road? Well the chances are out the back will be much older stuff. Multiple E Types and two AC Aces and an Aceta have just been dragged out and are heading to auction. There's all sorts of other stuff including parts and a 1951 Landie. I suppose they've been there long before such metal had any real value. Off to look at the auction. My ex's mother was from Downham, but had married well as they say, making adjustments to fit in. After a few drinkies her accent would somewhat slip which always cheered me.

Most of those cars seemed to get V5`s circa 1984, when most of them would have been worthless, especially damaged, which some of them were.. I suspect he was something to do with the motor trade, possibly in a bodyshop, or a scrap yard, & just decided to keep the cream of the shite that would otherwise have been binned off.. As usual, theres a lot of commenters on the video saying how sad it is for them to have been left to sit & rot, the fact is, most, if not all of them would have gone for scrap back in the early 80`s, as the majority of them did, so we should just be grateful this fellow nutter chose to keep them (& mostly in the dry) & they still exist at all. & his packaging technique is genius.. bunglebus, Shite Ron and MrGTI6 2

jonny69
I grew up just round the corner from that Downham stash and I literally had no idea about that one. Sort of backs onto where Downham Autos used to be but I don’t think he’s got anything to do with them. The owner was more of a hotrodder and had a Pop back in the early 90s.
