have made a donation of server food :) yesterday marked 5(!) years since I got my car, something I literally would not have if it was not for this forum, so I thought it was prudent I give a donation as a thanks for everything :)

I'm having trouble with paypal security verification. will try again tomorrow  when someone with better eyesight than me is here.

Pictures are too small for my eyes, and if it says motorcycles, do I just tick the motorcycle, or is the rider also a motorcycle?

Always managed it in the past.

That's paypal's "are you human" test (in fact, not just paypal but a lot of different companies use the same captcha).  I can't say for sure what counts and what doesn't.

I failed the test once when I had to click on photos containing a train, and at least two of them were clearly just of a locomotive 🙄

You do get another go with a different photo however so all is not lost.

This annoys me too, as there's one site I use where motorcycyles are often the captcha. It seems to me that you exclude the rider, and any squares with, say, just the mirror poking in. Go for the body of the thing (s) and you should be OK. Sometime though when you click on one (usually 'crosswalks' FFS) another will appear until you've killed them all.

I've not run the fundraizr for a little while, it's probably back into the red again..  let's have a look:

We were 8.09 in the black after June's payment, which was an improvement on where we were before.

The fundraizer back in July raised £458.65, meaning the account was at £466.74

Costs since then have been:

July:  £89.31
August: £87.15
September: £91.71
October: 86.39

Which means the account is now at £112.18 in the black.  In theory, I don't need to run the raizer again this month, as there is enough in there to cover November.  However, the dreaded C word is looming on the horizon, and as that is a time when people are likely to need cash elsewhere, I'll run it now, and then not again until well into the new year.  It's looking like each raizer is managing to do 4 months of hosting with relative ease, with the 6-monthly forum software license making the figures bounce around a little.  This seems to be working fairly well, so I won't change anything.

As per before, the fundraiser can be found here:

https://ko-fi.com/autoshite

Unfortunately, despite KoFi being superbly easy to use, when it transfers balance to Paypal, it's considered a business transaction, so some fees are lost.  On the back of that, if anyone wishes to make a "friends and family" paypal payment directly into the Autoshite Paypal account, (IE bypassing KoFi's fees) that would be most welcomed.  The email address to make a payment to is

[email protected]

For anyone making a payment by anything other than paypal, or indeed would prefer not to use friends&family to make the payment that is no issue at all and payments through KoFi are very welcome indeed.  Sending direct by Paypal friends&family is absolutely optional.  But is also welcomed to avoid fees.

I will, as before, leave this open for a while, to allow everyone who uses the forum to see this and contribute if they wish.  I expect this raizer will cover us well into the autumn

The explanation for the weird email address on page 1.

Many thanks to all contributors, large, small or anything in between.
