Is it just me or do they all appear to have been designed by a team who have all just fallen out with each other?

These came out just as I started at Mitsy. Apparently the launch was at some strip club near London. The story goes that Dave Blackburn (Mr Colt Cars) announced... 'Thats the new car, its called a Carisma, there will be GDi petrol and Turbo diesel models. The bar is over there and the dancing girls come out at 9!' Lol, always one with a snappy soundbite!

Sir John Whitmore, Jim Clark and Alan Partridge?

Great work so far Mark! When you cant knock a CV joint off the shaft its usually because the edges of the splines have burred outwards due to the circlip being smashed into them. When this happens it effectively locks the joint on. Ive seen people snap the section after the circlip off trying to smash it off! If you have a new CV joint, the easiest way may be to cut up the old CV joint. If you angle grind down into the outer cup you should be able to open it up enough to release it leaving the inner bit on the shaft. You can then knock it back up, pop the circlip off and clean up the splines or cut into it. When you are nearly thru get a thick chisel in and split it. CV joint is gonna be easier to source than a new driveshaft!

I feel fine at the moment but if anything happens to me I want to be disposed of in this. Jiggly handling and my ghosts laughter would be strong enough to revive me!

Two stroke toilets?! 🫣

I thought that too. Didnt pay much attention until I saw the Lotus badge! According to Wikipedia they were designed in Coventry and made in China. About as unLotus as you can get.

Out of everyone on here, I would have guessed you had been at every one! Not sure its on next year, some regulars on Flickr said the organiser has run out of space. They got to 1000 cars then had to start turning people away! If they go for a bigger venue they may have to spend more on traffic control, 1st aid etc.

I went! It was great! Took loads of pics, HERE! However, I am more of a 'go and do stuff' type o'guy rather than a 'Upload pics, type out tags' type so pics are being uploaded as an when I can be arsed! Here are some autoshite friendly ones so far... Detectives among you will have spotted I got to 'M' but now I need to go and do real life stuff so stay tuned for more if thats your sort of thing.

Its got wings on it now, more or less the right colour, but popped a brake pipe trying to park it on Friday! 🤣

Its all a bit boring given the high concentration of car nuts, most people opting for cheap daily drivers. Plenty C1/Aygo/I10 and of course my colt... but sometimes Chris bring his Navara in... 😃
