Thank you. I have a tailgate, but I'm definitely going to need some other bits.

Why don’t you see if you can set up a monthly subscription with @worldofceri and he can do a regular but constant delivery of rubbish in and out.

Hmm, thinking about that, what if some of it was surprise rubbish?

After all my good advice to buy a Bugatti Chiron you buy something far more difficult to look after!

Well bought! Sorry to see the Tercel get moved on but it looked like a job and a half!

The Sana/Florida looks looks from the front but it does look rather bulbous around the C pillar. I think the C pillar glass is too big.

My dad (recently passed away) always bought used cars but when the new Yugo Sana came out I think he was considering buying one brand new. A 5 door Escort sized hatchback was as small as he was going to go.

The parents of a girl in my year at school with had a red one I think. Replaced a mark 2 Cavalier.

Agreed. My sister met Jimmy Carr in Norwich many years ago and was a total fuckwit to her.

Anyway, how come the Sana has been off the road so long? It was a mere 5 year lifespan on that!

Maybe a swap with Iain Tyrrell’s Garage? He fixes your City Rover on his channel and you get to jump start the Matiz off a Countach?

I used to know him. Back in 1993 he invited me to be part of a charity raffle scam called Kara. Sell the tickets and keep 50% for yourself and pass the rest on. I must say he did a decent presentation although I did politely decline.

Mind you, when I was in school I used to walk past his house on the way home and there was always something interesting parked outside like an Espada and that was back in the days when they changed hands for the price of a Mk 2 Fiesta 1.1 L

I like donating it to Fire and Rescue, at least there's some use out of it.

Maybe they'd let you video the practice...

Alternative is put it up on a no reserve eBay auction and see what happens.

Donating cars to the local Fire Brigade for free was my usual way of disposing of cars that reached the ultimate accolade of pissing me off so much that I'd rather they suffered horrifically before being fragged than me claiming £50 off the scrap man. Only two cars managed to achieve such status, a 1985 Volvo 340 GL 1.4 and a 1982 Phase 1 Peugeot 305 1.5 SR Estate.

In all fairness, it doesn't look any better or worse than the infamous Wirral Sana (that's still there!)

Men's Sana in corpore sano, they said....

Round about 1991 my boss at the time’s Saab 9000 was stolen and written off, his insurance company supplied him with a courtesy car, a maroon Yugo Sana, it arrived sporting its space saver spare wheel on the rear near side. It remained pleasingly lopsided for the entire 2 months he had it...

Probably a stupid question but given the Fiat links and the general look of it, does it share anything much in the way of bodywork/mechanics with the Tipo/Uno?  Guessing engine parts are pretty standard at least, maybe brakes?

The Sana does shares it's underpinnings from the Tipo, including the same 1372cc unit which was also fitted to the MK2 Uno. Outer bodywork though is all Yugo own.
