My search for a new vehicle begins, I'm having a break from wafty stuff and want one of these at the moment:

That is some HOT STUFF.  It's surprising how many of these silly cars come in dreary monochrome colours.  Some have red or orange interiors, but usually with some concerning stains on the seats.

Hope someone will get it sorted, if I hadn't just bought mine!

Clean disability vehicle, high mileage. Disabled passenger sits in front next to driver, small convenient size car. Easy to use. Has an electrical fault which drains the battery. Comes with new battery but haven't got to the bottom of the cause.

I'm clearly a wrong 'un as I'd have that, although the horses and the boot badge would need to be launched into the sun(or ebayed in the unlikely event they're legit). The wheels can get in the sea also.

Also "No seats or front door cards". Obviously removed after the pic was taken – to put in this W116 that sneaks into a pic of an X350 the vendor is also selling.

@Spottedlaurel  Camry estate for £700.

Poor sod gets it MoTd then the head gasket goes.

Shame. That always seemed to be something of a risk with the V6, and the auto 'box going kaput. Luckily it never happened on mine, despite being used on trackdays.

With the Carina E fulfilling '90s practical car duties plus the LS400 for excessive cylinder count and my RX daily driver I fear that I would struggle to justify buying a broken Camry estate at present....

One way in which one can obtain a "cheap" Mk I Escort is, apparently, when it is disguised as a neoclassic van:

When I was a kid in the 80s a local restaurant had one of these. Dad told me it was an escort underneath. They had it for years and it was a bit of a landmark - turns out I'm not the only one to remember it
