Everywhere else states 145.

Applejack mk1s are the dog's danglies. It'll be interesting to see what the hammer price is - I interpret 'restored by a retired Mini specialist' as tidied and painted to an ok standard looking at the front wing fitment, rough lower edge to the front valance and the wobbly window seals. It's doing strong money already.

He must be a Mini specialist as he has built it to factory spec with the wobbly and rough bits. If it was all straight it would be over restored!

The underside is equally as clean as the top half. It's a world apart from the one restored by old boy, in between trimming his lawn, walking the dog and going to the tip once a week with half a bag of grass cuttings. 

Even the colour on the home resto job doesn't look right...

This was up for sale near me. Just sold. Not to me but I was awfully tempted.

Head gasket a piece of piss or I would have slotted in a 1098cc that I have lying around in the garden.

Starts off well but quickly unravels. 

"For sale is my vectra gsi I don't know much about the car as i bought for a run about while my other car was getting ready it's MOTED until the end of march 2024 drives great"

"slight miss fire but still pulls well lights up the wheels "

"A wee bit smokey on Idle if your sitting at traffic lights or something "

"The clocks wiring needs looked at as cuts out every so often turn ignition on and off they come back"

" headlights need looked at , all I can think of just now "

I used to hate these but I think it looks pretty good now especially as Gsi with a v6
