We rarely seem to get numberplate obfuscation awards any more… but this champion should get some kind of award…

Where is the numberplate obfuscation award thread?

@egg maybe a bit late for you, but Mk1 diesels must be rare on the ground now.

yes they are, there's a few being looked after on the various Facebook groups, but not many.  There's only 500 odd taxed MK1's now total. Looks an honest and fair ad.

Just digging a bit more, probably around 40 diesels actually taxed and on the road.

Here is your chance to own the world's ugliest convertible.

On a serious note though, this should be a right giggle with the 1.5 turbo, and it's seriously cheap compared to the CZT / Ralliart Colts with the same engine.

This has now reached £13,100 with 4 days to go. Madness. I know they don't come up often but I that's still crazy. Even if it was mint, but it's a long way from that. I suspect it will be relisted next week if the eventual winner turns out to be taking the piss or just suddenly thinks whatthefuckhaveIdone!

Ex Anglesey motor museum Kitten looking a bit more sorry for itself then when sold last year (but now temptingly close)

When I was at school in about 1991 one of the lads in the 6th form had a floppytop Estelle / Rapid.  We used to rip the piss out of him something chronic.

Interesting - I thought the early 2.5 was the banana engine.

Nope, the first year or so of Convoy production got the old Pug XD3 engine that the 400s used.
