Would love to buy that, get it running, then full throttle the bastard off a cliff and across the sea while hanging off the back of it dressed as Superman.

That feels cheap. Especially given the cast iron* warranty* that will be supplied as part of the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Zero feedback. And it's in Bridgend. Feeling lucky?

Being that the vendor is in Chertsey, I wouldn't mind betting that was the one I saw yesterday on the hard shoulder of the M25 near Heathrow, with its hazards on.

I was bidding that on an ebay auction a couple of weeks ago, that advert is dead but it may have been flipped already? Went for 4.5k which was the reserve. I was too slow with my bidsnipe - the winning bid was sent at 0.00001 seconds from the auction end so I assume has been sadly hoovered up by the classic trade.

Mmm. This Gumtree advert would, indeed, probably have been a scam listing then...

Bloody good cars these, go well and ridiculously capable down a twisty road for an elderly Korean barge, over-assisted steering notwithstanding.

Is Bridgend a NBZ now? I suppose it is a 'B' place like Brotherham.

I'm probably too much of a pussy to actually do it though.

Yeah, not enough I'd assume. I've sent them an offer of 400 and let them know that its nice to end an auction early only to put it up for sale immediately again.

Sounds like the guy that sold this P38 on 1/9 - forgot to set a reserve or cancel so when it sold he just refused to sell it

He relisted it and then sold it for £1222 - in the meantime he got a negative feedback from the original winner. My eBay ninja wife spotted this fact and forbade me from bidding on the second round. I'm not sure if the guy just made a mistake or was being a knob?

eBay is getting increasingly shit and dysfunctional, people just get away with this constantly.

A mere 82miles from my house - almost next door - I'll collect it for you.
Oh, hang on, forgot our new 20mph limits - don't think a C6 can go that fast - maybe not then.

What are you looking to exchange for it?

I reckon you should go for it, they aren't that scary. They're complicated but not impossible to live with really, the engines and gearboxes are solid and the suspension is reliable. Join the waftiness club.
