I bloody love these Ignis Sports.  I’ve dropped increasingly unsubtle hints to the kids that something like this would be great but they just sneer at me.

I'd agree even if it was just for those sexy Recaros, but I believe they're actually great fun to drive as well

2x C6, both slighty broken.

Quote
Black Car is a full running car with service history and is in good condition, the battery went flat and locked me out of the car with its dead lock, i had to break the passenger window to open the bonnet to charge the battery, she’s a  nice car and beautiful to look at.
2nd car the silver one has a coolant hose problem but she does start and run, i’m selling both together and if you know these cars you probably know how much the spares are for them, windscreens £1000 each etc etc

The Karaboat is amazing. Took me a moment to figure out 'River De Chester' though. Have watched the Youtube of it going at a hell of a lick down the river but think on balance I'll pass.

Hadn't even realised it was photographed in Chester until you mentioned it. Hopefully, they'll try and take it over the weir next time.

Seller states the bike was imported from USA by a previous owner. He then found out that it had been written off in the USA, due to flood damage. Which he says means that it cannot be registered in the UK.

That sounds a bit odd to me, is that correct?

I dunno though I reckon that the first right hander would involve sparks and poo filled the pants. Is not really my cuppa though does have appeal. I like the dennis the menace tank.

Sorry that rather doesn't answer your question.

DVLA

Vehicle registration: New registrations - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

Quote

If your vehicle is damaged
If your vehicle is classed as ‘seriously damaged’ you cannot register it with DVLA. You will not be refunded for any VAT and duty or vehicle approval fee you paid before trying to register the vehicle.

Serious damage means the vehicle cannot be repaired. For UK vehicles this means it’s a category A or B insurance write-off.

For imported vehicles, it might say something like ‘statutory write-off’, ‘scrapped’ or ‘non-repairable’ on the registration certificate.

Check with the registration authority for the country the vehicle is from to find out if the vehicle is ‘seriously damaged’.

If it is not ‘seriously damaged’, ask them to provide evidence of this.

Best bet for this would be if it disappeared for a bit and then appeared again as  a rebuild. It might get a Q plate.
