A 'high standard' of painting it using 2,000 litres of underseal via a fucking jet washer.

Is that a Volvo lump?

2016 Dacia Sandero Stepway 0.9 TCe (Spares or repair)

Unfortunately suffered a timing chain failure, resulting in major damage to the engine. It is currently a non-runner, requiring either engine replacement or major repair - therefore being sold as spares or repair.

This car passed its MOT in December 2025.

The engine starts fine and runs ok but sometimes stalls at traffic lights and the car would hesitate to pull out from a stationary position. The car often goes into a limp mode after reaching a certain speed / ABS warning sign lights up on the dashboard. Suspect faulty throttle body operation.

Oh I see...   Could you get a better car for the money in todays new car market?

Looks JDM with that spec but then it would be a Vitz.

I swapped a running Morris Marina van like that for a shit home made car trailer (5x3, IIRC) circa 1987 and I still had the best end of the deal.

I can't even begin to imagine how that town name sounds in Scouse.

Phlegm mostly, I'd guess

The BBC have made a documentary about a murder in Birkenhead in 1986, the girl doing the voice over for trailer over-does her accent by saying 'Birrkkenedd'.

Embarrassing.

That is amazing. Utterly obscure, amazing what's popping up for sale sometimes. Praying for it to stay away from the oval, you know theres a bunch of mouth breathers somewhere who can't wait to smash it to bits.

"it was taken over by Sir Dennis Burney with a view to sorting out cooling problems.

Burney himself had made significant changes to both ends of the car; its present format is Burney’s own idea (rather than the work of some well-intentioned amateur!); the present engine cover was made – unofficially -- in the de Havilland workshops at Hatfield."

It certainly looks like serious efforts were made to improve airflow to the rear engine, although rather to the detriment of the streamlining!
