1970 Land Rover 109 Diesel 2.3 - Picture 1 of 22

1970 Land Rover 109 Diesel 2.3 | eBay UK

It's such a shame this isn't stored outside somewhere where the owner could step back a little and TAKE A PHOTOGRAPH OF THE WHOLE FUCKING CAR M8.

Confusing description too.

Are those A2 compatible bikes actually worth anything like that? I have a GPZ500S and I feel if I could sell it for £800ish it would give me a decent budget to get a nice four cylinder!

The last time I looked (a few months ago) GPZ500s seem to be on the rise.

Just out of curiosity, if this doesn’t start so the suspension doesn’t go up to ride height how would you be able to recover it ? At its lowest height could this even be moved onto a trailer?

sorry for the silly question but these types of things fascinate me

Get an old washing machine belt and alternator pulley wheel in an electric drill and use that to drive the pump. It works, I've done it.

"This car is an original RHD and supplied new in 1976 to the UK, very rare only a few exist in the UK..... would make an amazing Hill climb, Historic track car to any Fast Ford enthusiast ! Would look amazing painted White with Blue stripes !"

Just don't allow yourself to be discouraged by the "engine removed and sold" bit.

I watched a block on you tube working on a DS and when he bought it the car was right up in the air even though it didnt run.

Turned out someone had unscrewed each sphere with it jacked up and inserted a piece of broom handle and put the sphere back on.  Not sure if this would work on this car or do any damaged but might be a consideration if all else fails.
